Here's the story about Judge Dugan's arrest:

A Milwaukee County Circuit judge was arrested by the FBI Friday and charged in federal court for allegedly helping an undocumented immigrant avoid arrest...

In charging documents, investigators said that plainclothes federal agents went to Dugan’s courtroom on April 18 with the intention of arresting Flores-Ruiz. A Mexican immigrant, Flores-Ruiz had been removed from the United States in 2013, but immigration officials learned he was back in the country illegally because of his arrest in a local domestic abuse case.

After being informed of the agents’ presence by her courtroom deputy, the judge “became visibly angry, commented that the situation was ‘absurd,’ left the bench, and entered chambers,” court documents say.

Witnesses told investigators that Dugan confronted the federal agents in a public hallway, where she repeatedly demanded they leave, saying they needed a different kind of warrant to make the arrest. Dugan ordered the agents to speak with the chief judge of the courthouse.

The other side of the coin is something that came up during the first go 'round when Trump tried to block AWS from getting government contracts because Bezos had bought the Post.

Now, we have Paramount afraid that the White House will use the FTC to block the Skydance and Paramount merger. Trump is also suing Paramount because he said that 60 Minutes edited Kamala Harris' interview in a way that Trump didn't like. This is exactly the stuff that went on in Russia, Hungary and in Turkey.

CBS/Viacom/Paramount is too big already. But apparently they're not big enough to stand up to a bully. Their stock is one of the few stocks not to take a nosedive recently.

I think Congress should require all products sold in stores and online to show tariffs paid in the price as if they were VAT taxes. One thing that we discovered from Trump 2017 and Biden tariffs is that once a company raises prices to cover tariffs, the price never comes down, even when the tariffs are repealed. Putting the tariff amount on the price would stop some of the inflationary pricing.

The press conference from KKKaroline Leavitt and that smiling gay guy who always shakes his head "no" when he's lying was like something out of Veep. I don't know why the press has gotten into the habit of allowing lies and political chicanery from the press room podium.

If Trump is directing Hegseth and Bondi to figure out how to use the armed forces against people in the US, it means he is planning to turn the armed forces against civilians in the US under the guise of 'Domestic Law Enforcement'.
