Rise of Fascism in the United States [SPLIT]

By the time the Congress flips to Democrat or Pam Bondi is sent back to her Qatar lobbying job, the statute of limitations is likely to have expired.

That would depend on when the last crime was committed, if they continue down the road they are on I don’t see the statue of limitations being an issue but your suggestion that they will act with one eye on that clock is delicious.

So what are you all going to do about it?

I’d bet plenty that this case will never make it to court. The purpose of the arrest has been achieved no need to go to court and meet a hostile jury.

It is all about the cheap theatrics of the 'charges'

They know their knuckle dragging base will never follow the case...they'll just be happy that TrumpCo. arrested those libtard commie insurrectionists.

As I keep saying...the GQP are 100% complicit in making Trump Fuhrer.

It is all a response to the SC blocking him.

Not likely to pass or be held up as legal, but US citizens need to understand that there are those in Congress that have no issue at all
overturning the Constitution.

One assumes this will be one of the items that the GQP have scheduled to debate at 1am on Wednesday morning out of sight and hearing of
the public.

That is some radical shit. If that is to be the law of the land moving forward the institutional change this decade was predicted to occur will have occurred.

Thinking about this more I’m not sure that the part of the tax bill mentioned above would be allowed in the Senate version of the bill because republicans are using reconciliation to get it passed and under those rules I believe everything has to have a financial aspect to it and the court restrictions don’t appear to have any. I sure hope I’m right.

Hell, with a couple of Senator whimpering that the "don't like" Trump accepting a jet from Qatar, but doing Jack Shit to block it, and ignoriing that a quid pro quo deal is already in the works to give him use of the plane after, strictly forbidden by the emoluments clause, they are already openly endorsing gross corruption.

They are even claiming the details of the deal are classified. Like hell they are. Prosecutable as soon as the House turns. Conspiracy, racketeering, bribery, and so much more.

Burn the damned thing down. We have no representation.

Burn WHAT damned thing down? Are you advocating scorched earth? Abandoning Congress? Nullifying the Constitution? Anarchy? Civil War? Secessions? Submitting to foreign take over? What is it you want burned down?

You keep saying over and over and over, burn it down. But you never, ever, never answer the simple question WHAT IS IT YOU WANT BURNED DOWN?

If you want to get an idea of what America looks like to the rest of the world, we look like this:

Former Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte was elected as mayor in his home city by a landslide, official results showed Tuesday, despite his detention by the International Criminal Court.

The Davao election board proclaimed Duterte won the race for Davao mayor, with the official tally showing that he garnered over 660,000 votes, or eight times as many as his closest rival. Elated supporters chanted "Duterte, Duterte" when the result was announced.

His youngest son, Sebastian, the incumbent mayor of Davao, was declared Davao vice mayor. His eldest son, Paolo, was reelected as a member of the House of Representatives, and two grandsons won in local races, an indication of the family's continued influence.

Rodrigo Duterte, the 80 year old former President of the Philippines is in prison in Europe, accused of extra-judicial murders of people that he accused of trafficking drugs. He was just re-elected mayor of Davao, in spite of the fact that he is sitting in prison and is older than dirt.

His son, Sebastian Duterte, is the vice mayor of Davao.

His daughter, Sara Duterte, is the Vice President of the Philippines. She is the former mayor of Davao. Sara Duterte serves as Vice President to Bongbong Marcos, who is the son of Ferdinand and Imelda Marcos.

This populist, nepotistic mess is where the US is headed.

And this is chilling.

It tells you so much about the demographics of the Republican party.

And their arrogance and self-assuredness that nothing bad could ever come of this for them. Only for those they hate.

'When Public safety requires it' is more than a slippery slope.

So what is the quid pro quo?

Is Trump looking to shake down Apple for a bribe?

Or is he going full authoritarian and now dictating to the companies that likely helped
get him into the White House?

Would be a shame if 'Clown Prince Trump' really started trending.

Meanwhile, Pete Kegsbreath's attempt to purge the Pentagon library has pretty much fallen flat, representing a smallish victory for common sense.

So theoretically the Senate has enough Republicans willing to vote against the bill.

Which is what the House likely hoped.

But we've been here before.

I wouldn't truxt one fucking GQP senator to not find some way to 'support' this bill as TrumpCo. and their owners find ways of incentivizing and monetizing their support.

It is a den of whores.
