The funny thing is..... When you turn it around...... For every black that "goes white" there is the white that "goes black". It is a 1 to 1 ratio. If one condemns the black for going white one also condemns the white for going black, you can't hold one side accountable for the "evil" relationship while the other is blameless. It takes the two of them to make the relationship.

This whole thread makes me feel uncomfortable. Let people date whoever they want to date. Please stop worrying about keeping the races pure which is dumb enough as it is even before you consider gay couples

That seems to be how a lot of you interpret his post. I often forget just how deeply you guys sometimes just don't get it. This isn't about keeping anything pure, it's about A) a class system where white partners are used as a status symbol and B) a lack of availability of black partners for out men, least of all celebs probably due in large to rampant homophobia in the agonizingly religious black American culture.

But that first sentence pretty much sums up any taboo discussion, "It makes me uncomfortable 'so drop it.'"

You and a scant few others keep bringing up this point, and it'd be a valid point if the people that made these sorts of threads would lead with it. Then we could have an actual discussion without the thinly veiled - or absolutely overt - racial agenda.

But no, what we get is "They're dating white people and all the black sites I'm on say it's because he's famous now so he got himself a white person and think of all the baby gays coming up that'll think they need to get themselves a white person" and bla bla bla... and that line of logic, in this day and age, doesn't cut it. Sorry if people don't like interracial couples.

No, I take that back. I'm not sorry if they don't like interracial couples, because just like gay marriage, if you don't like it don't fucking have it. And when you don't have it, you can also stop trying so hard to worry about it... stick to your lane; Michael Sam, Robin Roberts and others are just fine in theirs.

I get that, live and let live. I've been m.i.a. for a while so I'm not familiar with the original poster but from what I read it seems he wanted a genuine discussion, he didn't seem to harbor any animosity towards interracial couples or come across as a troll.

Also, as I've so eloquently said the past 10 or 12 times we've spoken, fuck me. Just... fuck me. Fuck me silly and sideways.
 
Yeah, you've been away a long time... this particular guy just wants to spread an agenda at this point - either some gay isn't masculine enough to "bring up the black gays hiding in society", or they're dating white people and that's WRONG. Did you just pull this "ratio" out of your ass? In the real world, that's not how people present facts.

The truth is; BLACK Gay men are more open to interracial couplings than WHITE Gay men. The studies are online for all to see if you just do a little looking. Also, Black Women are often the last choice amount racial groups when it comes to online dating. OkCupid did a study and found that Blacks are more willing to date/marry outside of their race than most other groups.. WHITES were among the least.

The fact is to have a black/white relationship you need a black AND a white in it. Just like I pointed out in my post. Please explain, since you think it is a crock of shit, how there can be a black/white relationship with anything but one black and one white..... The ratio of one black to one white in a black/white relationship is it. Anything else just doesn't work you idiot.
