An Englishwoman wrote this to an English newspaper about the current hysteria—

I was talking to my mum and she said she used to go to a dentist in the 70's who fondled her breasts when in the chair. Also the idea that it might be an arrestable offence if you don't go to the police if you suspect abuse strikes me as ludicrous and more importantly dangerous.

^ Pat Grimshaw - Oh for God sake I'm not going to sit here and confirm that all official Australian offices (including state schools) still hold the "Wattle" Queen portrait in some major part of the building but I do know that even the private (elite) schools in Australia like Kings College and The Scotts college and even my own high school in Northern New South Wales has the portrait hung. It's a very common figure of the Australian institution as a sign of historical and modern day solidarity with the British Monarchy and the Commonwealth in general. She is only officially called the "Queen of Australia" when she is in residence here and as far as I know the same goes for Canada. That "wattle" portrait represents that.
