Sanders Kamikazes Clinton -"convention not a fair/transparent process", hints Hillary nomination illegitimate

Democratic Delegates

Not yet allocated: 946

Needed to win nomination: 2,383

Hillary Clinton: 2,291 (includes 524 superdelegates)

Bernie Sanders: 1,528 (includes 40 superdelegates)
---------------

She basically needs 98 delegates and she finish the race...

Though Bernie started out as "my" candidate, come-hell-or-high-water, in a Bernie-or-bust sort of way, this recent stuff is turning him into my most disliked and feared Democratic (or progressive/left) candidate since Ralph Nader in 2000. I can all too easily imagine him getting all pissy, and in a massive Trump-kind-of-way, running as a third party candidate with the intention of destroying the Democratic Party.

And that WOULD destroy the Party...and guarantee the death of the American concept under Trump.

His reaction toward the violence in Las Vegas has been wimpy and disingenuous at best. A few months ago I asked who would be the first person to be killed at a Trump rally. Now I have to ask who will be the first person killed at a Democratic gathering.

He has crossed the Rubicon. After this past weekend in Las Vegas, I can no longer see or imagine any path where (in the end) he can or possibly will suggest to his followers that they need to keep Trump out of office, by voting for Hillary in November.

When given lemons, make lemonade.

I don't regret my Bernie vote at all, in the March primary here, because I was acting on information I had at the time, but at this point there is NO way I would be voting for Bernie if the Illinois primary was held today.

I never thought that Bernie was capable of making it ALL ABOUT HIM, no matter what, the survival of "America" be damned.

^ HOWEVER...all that said above...if it did come down to Bernie and The Donald (AS THE TWO MAJOR PARTY CANDIDATES - not Bernie as a third party candidate) in the NOVEMBER election, I would still vote for Bernie in a heartbeat. Not even a question of whether to hesitate or not.

Of course if I am given that choice in November, it will be because something profoundly undemocratic has happened within the Democratic Party. It is virtually impossible for Bernie to ascend, now, via any normal path...there would need to be some type of political brute force, entirely going against the process that has happened so far (via people showing up to vote), to get Bernie to the top. By whatever method, he would be considered a disgraced candidate at this point.

It's just that the way the U. S. electoral system is set up, it simply cannot accommodate THREE competitive candidates AT ALL. Canada and so many other countries have a solution which accommodates more than two parties.

But yes - if November gave me a choice of Bernie Sanders, versus a guy whose spoken mission is to destroy everything that is special about being American and to create untold international mayhem by bombing everybody in sight, I will vote AGAINST the death of the United States and possibly the planet, thank you very much.

I was watching MSNBC this morning and it seems that the Bern is starting to sting over this Nevada debacle.

If Bernie and his tantrum throwing children disliked Nevada's procedural rules so much, why didn't they appeal them long long ago? Oh right, they thought they could fuck the rules and the voters and bully the DNC into giving Bernie a state he didn't win.

Very democratic there Bern.

This is interesting…

The Faux Fracas in Nevada:
How a Reporter Manufactured a Riot

Jon Ralston, the dean of political reporting in Nevada, has spread nothing less than a pack of lies about what went down at the state’s Democratic convention on Saturday [May 14, 2016]. And the fact averse oligarchic national media has run completely riot with the provable falsehoods. No chairs were thrown at the convention Saturday. No death threats were made against the chair of the convention Roberta Lange. And Bernie Sanders delegates were not simply mad because their louder shouting was ignored.

Ralston has been the culprit behind each of these falsehoods; and the New York Times, CNN, MSNBC, and a dizzying array of other outlets have swallowed them whole then regurgitated them for their much more massive audiences.

No wonder you call Hillary a crook, you're listening to conspiracy people.

Take a look at their homepage:

I really don't think that columnist guy should be accusing other people of being biased. Tell us Coolblue71, do you actually buy the literature these people are selling? My favorite is:

QUEEN OF CHAOS! One guess who that one is about.

yeah Ralston's bullshit was all over Facebook today with all of the outside of JUB Hillaryists eating that shit up

he's human garbage who within the first paragraph of his sewage reveals himself as a Bernie hater - hard to take seriously unless you are on the Hills payroll ........

but no worries Joe Biden says it'll all get worked out

I appreciate his optimism if not his realism here

There's No Quit In Bernie Sanders - He Keeps Fighting For YOU !!

Bernie isn't giving up on the 99% - on their rights - he's challenging the Democratic Party to do the right thing

to welcome into the party those who will fight for real economic and social change

the REAL democratic party

not ally with Wall St.

To the Dem Party "open the doors and let the people in"

The other option is status quo - dependent on big $ campaign donors - and have limited participation and energy

Bernie is from the working class !!! and he's fighting for you !!

Re: There's No Quit In Bernie Sanders - He Keeps Fighting For YOU !!

I believe it, but, Hillary is the nominee.

Same old talking points never change and imply that the Democratic Party of President Obama is corrupt and doesn't care about Americans.

Conrats on having a message.
Condolences for not being able to sell Sanders' ability to implement said changes.

It's not him, it's the Congress, stupid (1992).

did barbra boxer trot herself out to nevada just to play the victim?

I think you should answer your own question really.......however you like is fine with me;)

I am guessing you think it is her fault.....

The question you asked pretty much confirms everything I have thought about you from the beginning though..so thanks for that. Sometimes I wonder if I am wrong.....and sometimes I am....but not this time...
