Palin, a paid Fox News contributor, told "Fox News Sunday" that she was correct. She says there were British soldiers in the area for years before Revere's legendary ride, and that he was warning them, as well as his fellow colonists.

"Part of his ride was to warn the British that were already there that 'hey, you're not going to take American arms, you are not going to beat our own well-armed persons individual private militia that we have.'"

She blamed her previous answer on the media, saying it was a "gotcha question."

I was just talking about Brown with friends over dinner.

Much will depend on who runs against him, but you have to remember... in new england we like action and we like deal makers. Snowe and Collins have taught him well how to be a New England Senator. He is sitting in the Kennedy seat, and so far the consensus is he is failing to fill the shoes.

Word is that Barney Frank is eyeing Browns seat. ( I couldn't resist the joke, sorry) hard to believe but thats the talk. He is popular enough in Mass to unseat him easily.

Brown wont get MY support because he is a member of a political party that engages in institutionalized homophobia, and I am a homo. That doesn't mean that other progressives in the Commonwealth will hold that against him. ;)

Frank is waiting to see what Warren is going to do. We need to wait for the summer recess to see if Obama is going to give her a recess appointment, which is likely. if he does not it means she will be going for the Old Kennedy seat. Other than that, Frank is the one positioning himself in the state to make a big run.

he may be saying no no... but a guy from summerville doesn't need an offfice or input from western Mass unless he's thinking about a statewide run.

He will eventually do it, but only when he is SURE that he will win. He can't run for both the house and senate simultaneously. so.... he is biding his time and keeping his options open.
