Shepherd 2 appreciation thread

Dear JUB friends,
Thanks for so many kind posts. I have another week of challenging events. Last Tuesday I nearly lost my only surviving sibling, my sister. She had internal bleeding and for three days they were puzzled. I found out their equipment was not up-to-date and they were not locating the problem.

We got her to another hospital where the equipment was better. Within an hour they located the problem, and caterized the bleeding and she is doing much better. It may be she will get to go home Friday, but she will have to have an around the clock nurse for a while.

I am wrestling with some more depression. It is hard to stay focused. Thanks God for a partner who is insistant about my care. Tomorrow I see my family doctor. I hope it goes well.

So far 2011 has been a difficult series of events for me.

My family doctor has me back on the path to feeling well again. I have only taken a couple of rounds of the meds today, and already I can see a huge difference. Now if only we can keep the ship of life righted and out of the bad waves.
