Here in The Netherlands the young guys either go to bed earlier than we went out (most disco's and clubs closed) or they party all night at home.

Berlin still has clock'round partying, but here, if a place closes at 5:00 AM you're lucky.

During weekdays most everything is closed in Amsterdam.

We could go into the bars as teenagers in the nineties, and the kids about fifteen years older had been able to visit nightclubs as teens.

(I hear that story a lot about disco's in the U.S. in the '70s).

I think it used to be more fun to be young, but also more dangerous.
