Skins - UK TV Show

Oh my god.

How could they do that to him? That's horrible! Jesus....what's he going to do now?? wow.

During that rave scene...I liked how they just meet...Cid goes up and grabs Tony and just breaks down. I mean I can here people going "oh that's so gay" but no it's not. It shows that these two characters love each other as best friends should!

I wish I still had a best friend that would be there for me. *sigh* Depressed now! :(

Last nights episode was so good. I love how they focus on one kid each episode. It was so sad too. I loved the moment with Sid and Tony at the show. And I felt so bad for Cassie (is that her name?) The look on her face when Sid was yelling at her was so sad.

I love this show. This is the first teen show I've liked... ever. The OC, 90210, One Tree Hill. All unrealistic, stupid and boring. But this is brilliant.

poor sid :( really didnt see that coming (and how massively creepy was the dummy corpse?!)

and poor cassie, will her and sid ever get together and be happy?

i love this show... Maxxie is the highlight... not sure why people are so offended by the whole musical... I thought it was pretty funny...

^^
I think it was supposed to be somewhat offensive, because in the last episode the teacher read some sort of announcement defending it.

i can understand why the musical offended some and i think it was planned that way, i wasnt personally but i am not american so it might be a differant for an american.

i think if anyone got seriously offended by it then they are taking it too seriously, it was a sub-plot, it was simply a way of getting the characters of maxxie and sketch together on screen in a plausable way, and i would think there are rules behind a TV show portraying an actual well known play

I thought last nights episode was really good. The ending blew my mind. I really didn't see that coming.s
And its clear that Sketch isn't going to give up on Maxxie. Girl, he gay! I also hope Scarlet sticks around. She's fun. I think her relationship with her dad is very weird though.

My favorite character is Chris. And I'm so happy the next episode centers around him.

It was a really good episode last night. I did have a tear in my eye when Sid meet Michelle on the beach and told her that he was so lonely. Wow...did that hit home! I feel like that too every once in awhile. *sigh*

Anyways looking forward to next week's show. Looks like Chris joins the working world! My guess is he's a real estate agent! :)

Apparently, the cast all hate Nicholas Hoult and didn't want him to come back after the end of the 1st series.

Hence they do a road trip episode and Tony gets left behind, only featuring in 2 scenes with 1 other character.

^^
Really!? Thats crazy. I'd prefer it if his role was cut back for a while. The other characters are so much more interesting. And plus Tony's memory loss is kind of getting dull.

^^
Oh yes, I watched that this morning. I have that website bookmarked lol.

That girl is scary.

What do you think will happen with her character? Will she survive to see Series 3?

Actually I'd like to see tony hook up with maxxie! ;)

Well, they nearly did in the episode where they went to Russia, and Tony tried to suck Maxxie off...

(Have to say, Nicholas Hoult's acting this series has been AWFUL.)

First series, great. Brilliant. Best teen show ever, period. This series, almost depressing and heavy handed. Everyone has issues. There's very little comedy. Very little time to be actual teenagers like in the first series and plenty of time to be characters on a television show.

Hoping things get better. They aren't bad, just different in the wrong ways.

Am I the only one, btw, that's hoping Jal and Maxxie get love interests? Maxxie moreso than Jal, but still.

Well last Monday's episode wasn't the greatest for me! The only part I laughed at was the transformation that sketch had done to Anwar. :)

Looks like the speech Tony gave to Chris (if i remember correctly) is that he's going to get back everything that he has lost...so I guess seeing him go to Maxxie is out of the question now.

Also the way everybody is hooking up with the others seems kind of like it's heading towards a midsummer night's dream storyline! I hope not.

Anyways yes last episode was trash for me, BUT this show is still way better then anything on tv over here in Canada! So i be here next Monday to see what happens! :)

Have you guys who dislike this show ever seen 'Beverly Hills 90210', 'The OC' or 'One Tree Hill?' 'Skins' is absolute gold compared to those pieces of garbage. And thats why I like it so much.
I liked the latest episode, but Cassie is becoming an annoying downer. Can't that dipshit just off herself for good?
