You know some crazy shit I recently found out about Ms. Carey????? Before her three Grammys she won this year did you all know she only won like two or three Grammys altogether during her entire early career???? I always assumed she won truck loads of them for classics like "Someday" "Emotions" "I Don't Wanna Cry" "Love Takes Time" "Always Be My Baby" etc........She won zero Grammys for writing and singing fucking "Hero"??????? What the fuck???? How can Mariah now have only 5 or 6 Grammys TOTAL over her incredible Pop reign of the 90s and people like Beyonce (who I love don't get me wrong) accumulate nine of them since 2001????

Grammys are a joke nowadays. I don't think Madonna has that many and she was explosive during the 90s as well. She may not be the best singer in the world but dammit there were a lot of songs I though deserved it, just like Mariah. But yeah, so the talented are never usually recognized in excess like the fly-by-nights like Norah Jones...who win like 9 at one sitting...

I think Madonna didn't win any until the night she won 5 I think for her "Ray Of Light" album. Before that she didn't win any. I felt the same with her like I did recently with Mariah. Not that I am disagreeing with mariah winning more, but as a songwriter, Mariah's success is eclipsed by her fame as a singer. So, maybe that was the reason she was overlooked at times for Best Song. But as a singer, I don't really know the reason she was overlooked.

Madonna won Best Video in Grammy before her big wins for Frozen. Madonna won more then because the Grammy voters were sympathetic with the snub Madonna got from Oscar.

for me right now it's scandalous by mis-teeq...for some reason i'm obsessed with it right now and was surprised to learn it wasn't a big hit. and if anyone knows the name of the dancer in the vid, i owe u sexual favors. the boy is a sex machine...

tho it's a great dance song, maybe the lyrics "you n*****s should be scared of us" was the reason for the lack of radio play, lol. weird to have such gangsta lyrics in the middle of such an upbeat dance song.

Omg James the song is hot..but I can't hear it without remembering how shitty Catwoman with Halle was!!! I get upset everytime..it didnt do justice to Halle or Catwoman..who the fuck is Patience Phillips? Catwoman is and will always be Selina Kyle!!!

How can Madonna or Mariah Carey be called titans? Ditto with Beyonce, though you're not saying that about her. Those idiots never wrote a song in their lives worth mentioning. Madonna may be popular and she may be a good entertainer but she's also a phantom...She's not real. Someone does her stupid hair and so-called reinventions that the press keeps on and on about, someone writes about 99% of her songs-the melody and the lyrics, someone plays all the instruments...She's just a brand name propped up for sale.
