well you can rest assured that that kid ain't gunna be screaming in public anymore!
Might even be traumatic for the kid...
i hate screamy kids!
Do you live anywhere near Philadelphia?Does he also do barking dogs?
I have a few in the neighborhood I'd like to shut up.![]()
Because other moms don't usually have that option. They could have hostile neighbors, not know their neighbors. The majority of women are working mothers with no help or support or their husbands are just as busy are just too lazy. So they have to bring the kid to the store. If she had left her child at home by itself and something happened, we would be condemning her.I have been watching this thread all day and wanted to develop an opinion.
I do NOT approve of the action, but certainly understand the level of frustration.
Situations like these (the screeching kids that are unstopped) are why I now shop at odd hours when I can. And a reason that I really, really, really never want to work Retail again.
I have been known to abandon my cart/buggy FULL OF STUFF and just leave the store and go elsewhere. And after asking my Partner about this, so has he.
My Neighbor has a 16 month old son and she frequently must go shopping without her Husband as he works out of town and is gone for days at a time. I applaud her solution; she has now called me on at least two occasions and asked me to run to the store for her because the Baby is extremely fussy and she CAN'T take him out.
I have purchased for my Neighbor feminine products and diapers (among a few other things) and would be happy to do so again. Why can't other Moms come up with a reasonable solution?

Given all the poor parenting in this country, I wish we had more people like that guy, who simply takes matters into his own hands if the parent isn't going to do the job themself.
This guy deserves a medal, if anything.
You can tell from the responses here who has kids, who deals with kids on a regular basis and who doesn't.

For all you tough guys saying you would beat this guy if he did that to "your" child, here's a simple solution, one that the mother should have followed as well: it's called a fucking PACIFIER!!! Or don't go out in public when your baby is screaming, because it's annoying as hell! Just because you are narcissistic or fucking straight enough to reproduce doesn't mean the rest of us should have to endure the sounds of your little vermin.

Irrelevent.....it still comes back to bad behaviour and poor parenting.![]()
