Today's update

New stage = Mario Circuit

This Mario Kart DS inspired stage has been seen in a previous trailer. It's basically an 8 shaped track with Shy Guys running around it.

The fight takes place at the intersection. That means that when Shy Guys come running to the front or from the side, you can get hurt!

You can always hit them back though. That's always funny.

New Assist trophies : Stafy and Waluigi

Aww, cute. Stafy will appear and try to get you wet...

...but you can kick him away of ur sight. LOL. He's aparently weak on purpose.

On the other hand, Waluigi will seriously want to kick ur ass.

He will stomp you into the ground...

...then either kick you or hit you with a racket. bitch!

Yeah, the lack of good updates kinda sucks, but today's wasn't too bad. I'm more disappointed that none of the Japanese magazines had any new info.

I saw these last night and at first was totally excited becasue I thought they were playable characters and then realixed that they were just assist trophies and that really pissed me off. Waluigi will probably annoy the shit out of me, constantly reminding me that he's not a playable character and constantly taunting me about it.

Oh, and on Brawls home page, doesn't it list Stafy as doing a spin attack on you and not trying to get you all wet (Meta)?

Yes I know thats what the site says, but still it doesn't really look like he's doin much. Either way, he's too weak.

Im not really upset about Assist Trophies. I mean, someone has to be an assist trophy... the playable cast is already cool as it is.

I thought Waluigi was playable when I first checked the website but I'm just glad he's in the game. Today's update of Co-op being in a lot of modes sounds awesome.

So pumped for Sonic. Loved him until the 3d age. They should release more Snake footage or something. i like the dojo, but im hoping there will still be some mystery and suprise when we get the game, i feel like he's revealing a little too much. By the time we get to Feb whats gonna be left?

New Stage: Frigate Orpheon

This stage takes place in the first stage of the original Metroid Prime. The whole thing flips 180 degrees every so often.

New track : Porkey's theme

Well the original Mother never came out of Japan officially, but here is Porky's theme anyway.

Co-op Events

As Bark said, Two player Co-op has been added not only in adventure mode, sandbag, and all those things this time around, but also in Event Mode and Target Smash. Also for those that cared about Coin Mode in Melee, this one is back as well in Brawl.

Yeah, that's unlikely considering the Japanese release is like the 24th or something. I hate to say it but it's probably going to be close to the EU release date, and that one's slated for Q2 2008.

Is the wii regional? Because i guess us aussies can get it from the states when you guys get it. If not i'd consider haivng it chipped, im not waiting like 6 more months. Whats weird was back in september Electronics Boutique said we'd get it in December, so hopefully by some miracle we will get it before Europe.

Overalls Wario

I love 'Warioware Wario'. But if for some reason you are feeling nostalgic...

You can change his costume to his classic overalls. You do so at t he character select screen.

This costume change also has its own pallete swaps.

Kirby Special Moves

For those that don't know, Kirby has the ability to copy his oponent's standard special move by swallowing them. Kirby will keep the ability until he gets killed, or until you remove it yourself by taunting.

He also manages to look adorable wearing his oponent's costume


New item = Team Healer

Brawl clearly promotes teamwork a lot by implementing Co-op in most of its modes. This item just makes team battles more interesting. It's simply an item that recovers health.

However it only works if your teammate throws it at you.

Zelda grabbed it first. But nothing happens.

She threw it at Damien Kyle. He's recovering health.

Be careful though. If you throw it at an oponent, then he/she will recover instead.

New track = Angel Island Zone

This track is from Sonic 3... its an awesome version of a classic tune. I also picture Brawling to it... awesomeness

Aparently the song "Live and Learn" which is heard in the 'Sonic Joins Brawl!" trailer is also in the game, somewhere.

Sonic's Final Smash = Super Sonic

Go ahead, start runnin over people. Be careful though. Going too fast is prolly not a good idea cuz it's harder to stop and change direction.
