Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains [Official Thread]

They don't always deduct it automatically, which means you have to pay when you file taxes. Or else you end up being Richard Hatch's prison bitch.

Let's not forget that this is a television show being produced. Of course there are always many cameras around, and microphones put into key locations on each location set and planning involved. Otherwise, how else would we all have been able to enjoy this show for 20 seasons? I'm not saying everything we see is always pure spontaneity. But I think the production team is organized enough where they are able to capture moments such as the Colby, Russell chat. They were on floating platforms which were key spots for the challenge, so it makes sense that cameras and microphones would be on those spots. If I'm not mistaken, sometime players are even wearing mics. They could have been easily stashed in Colby's bandanna around his neck, or one of Russell's necklaces, or simply planted near them on the platforms.

Of course there are multiple cameras and the players are mic-ed but it just wasn't believable to me. The cameras just seemed too ready to record this "scene". It didn't look spontaneous at all.

I will give you the chickens, but I don't think they were to benefit anyone in particular, just kind of there to appease the all stars who might have big egos. Tyson is an idiot and it has been known since his first season, the pen and paper came from Amanda's luxury item when the Heroes won the challenge, and the shovel came from one of the rewards the villains won, I think it was the Sears reward.

As far as Russell and Colby, I'm sure they have many cameras in different areas to catch the action from different angles, so it's not to out there to believe that it would catch a conversation between Russell and Colby, it has caught conversations between people who weren't even taking part in the challenge before.

I think your conspiracy theories are kind of ridiculous.

You're not the only one to say that. !oops!

The season is just ringing so false hence my Burnett intervention claim. I wish I was close to the person the my person that belongs to my athletic club (he made the jury on his season) so I could ask him what he thinks about H vs. V and the claims that it's partially staged. He gave an interview to our club and only shared that the confessionals were often out of sequence e.g. something taped on day 4 was shown on Day 16. haha

Of course some scenes are staged !!!!!
I mean this is entertainement !!

Stage or not, This is good entertainement ahahaha

I think there will be a Final Three. What about you folks?

Spoilers confirmed this season will have a F3 awhile ago. Even without spoilers, though, there pretty much has to be a F3 because of the scheduling. The finale airs Sunday, May 16th and there are still nine people in the game. So not only is there going to be a Final 3, but we'll probably have another episode randomly edited to have two boots in it like the Dave Ball / Monica boot episode in Samoa.

April 29th: F8
May 6th: F7
May 13th: F6

One of these has to be a double boot to go into the finale with five. Which really sucks. I hate that seasons with 20 people have incredibly long pre-merge segments and then there's no time left at the end of the season and they rush through the post-merge eliminations even though the individual game is way more interesting than the tribe vs. tribe stuff IMO. Seriously, this season was like... 9 pre-merge episodes and maybe 5 episodes from the merge to the finale. That's beyond stupid.

Yeah the pre merge really dragged on, that's why I hate 20 people casts on Survivor, I hate double boot episodes and I hate a long pre merge. I will not complain too much this season because it is an all stars season, so it makes sense to try and include as many all stars as possible, but for regular seasons it isn't necessary.

Of course there are multiple cameras and the players are mic-ed but it just wasn't believable to me. The cameras just seemed too ready to record this "scene". It didn't look spontaneous at all.

Of course they were, they knew something would happen

What the hell is wrong with Colby??? It's one thing to not be as good in challenges anymore as you were a decade ago, but he just sat there all bored while Amanda fought Danielle? Hello? Your numbers are down, you guys need the idol. Amanda didn't forget they were playing a game, but Colby seems to think he's there to mull around camp and watch Treasure Island? What the fuck? He didn't even try to back Amanda up. God I'm so over him. Just vote him out now. Idiot.

And why didn't the Heroes just stick to Danielle once she got back to camp? I would've followed her nonstop until the idol was found.

God these people are just asking to lose.

I laughed when Russell said Sandra is in a good position to make it to the end because she's not a threat for jury votes. He's underestimating her the same way he underestimated Natalie last season and even Parvati this season. Does that troll not get it that NO ONE likes him? He's the one everyone should take to the end, because he'll be lucky to get even one vote. Some things never change.

The editing choices this season indicate that TPTB recognize that Parvati and Sandra both outwitted Russell in this game, but don't expect Probst to reflect that at the Reunion Show. He'll likely rewrite history again to make Russell seem like the best player who didn't win. Some things never change.

Finally, Candice reminded me tonight why I hated her on Cook Islands. She was totally intimidated by Russell and she's in no better a position now than she was with the Heroes...only now she's potentially lost some jury votes as well. I guess she's still the same twit who thought "I can kiss Adam if I mutiny right now!" Some things never change.

The entire Heroes tribe has to be the dumbest tribe ever on Survivor and I thought it wouldn't get any worse than Galu. Colby is stupid for telling Amanda to give the clue back just because he wants to play an honest game, Amanda is dumb for actually giving it back I would have run away and read it while I was running then i would have followed Danielle everywhere. Then Candice flipped for absolutely no reason at all, Sandra was going to help the Heroes out, it made no sense at all.

Remember when Candice (and Adam and Parvati) gave a hard time to Jonathan because he flipped? Guess what, she did the same thing now

Candice. . . what a cunt. How on earth could she feel like she's got better chances to flip to the enemies side?

And did I read those votes correctly? Did Sandra flip back and vote for Amanda? I only caught a quick glimpse of the votes but I thought I saw that.

Yes Sandra voted for Amanda, I guess she realized the villains had the numbers and she always goes with the numbers. It would have been stupid for her to vote with the Heroes knowing that Candice wasn't going to budge.

I know everyone hates him, but Russell looks really hot in next week's preview, with his shorts riding low.

^ Love Ya, but there ain't nothing about Russell that I like, except the fact that whoever ends up with him at the end will certainly win because everyone hates him.
