Survivor 20: Heroes Vs. Villains [Official Thread]

The heroes jury was saying, "Thank you, Sandra" for trying to warn us about the rotten, manipulative, anti-social, heartless, evil, mentally incapable of empathy or sympathy or any other normal human emotion toward other human beings.

You were right.

I loved how Sandra in the last show after listening to Russell tell her she wouldn't get votes and that's why he wanted her to go to jury along side him " I don't know about that!" in her typical Sandra voice.

And Sandra burning his hat was Karma because of all the shit he destroyed in both shows, Samoa and H v V that belonged to other people, including pouring their water out.

And I am still happy, happy, happy with the vote that left Russell stewing in his own poop!

Wouldn't it make sense that in a system where you can vote for Russell as many times as you want, it really wasn't America that chose him, it was the same group of trolls that keep VFTW picks alive on AI.

Watching him finish 3rd again and still not get why - priceless!

Actually, the people at VFTW are 100% behind Sandra and hate Russell. I should know because I post on both VFTW and Survivor Sucks. Russell got the fan favorite vote because casual fans have the attention span of a housefly and probably never ever saw the original seasons of anybody in the F6 except Samoa. It also doesn't hurt that he hogged the airtime at the expense of everybody else.

Things tonight reminded me...

A) I desperately wnat to fuck Colby. What with him being useless all year I forgot why I crushed on him so hard years ago but he looked fucking hot tonight

Eww why? Colby of all people? He seems like a dud to me. I have no attraction to him at all.

JT was somewhat cute throughout the season but with all the makeup he had on last night it almost looked like he had a look-a-like in his place only that he had his face swollen.

I used to find Colby hot but yeah his nothing personality this season zapped him of all sex appeal for me. I just wanted him eliminated as soon as possible. It's too bad he outlasted more worthy competitors like Steph and Tom.

I'm glad Russell won the fan vote. Don't get me wrong, I hate him, but I would rather listen to Russell talk about his evilness than Rupert go on and on about his heroness. It's kind of sad how seriously Rupert takes the whole hero thing. Like a child pretending to be a superhero or something. And I love how he could "speak on behalf of all the Heroes" at TC . Shut up and sit down Rupert (and the game is over, bathe).

Parvati should have won. Sandra would have been my 3rd choice this season that I would have liked to see win (Jerri being #2), so I'm alright with the results.

Jerri was right about her redemption. She was booed off the stage last time she played, now she was getting voted out for being too likeable. What a turnaround. She seemed genuinely happy, and I'm happy for her.

I would have liked to see Boston Rob win the fan vote.

I see James is back to his aw shucks routine . We know what's hidden behind there James.

I didn't see Colby's other season, I just started watching two seasons ago, and he did lose a lot of weight, and he didn't perform well this season, but the man is gorgeous. He seemed back in good form at the reunion show, and he explained his lackluster perfomance because of the "adventure loss" and "not being able to explore" or "the inability to go in the water", and being "quarantined". That had to take a toll on the guy. Anyway, like I said before, the man is Gorgeous!

and being "quarantined"
I wasn't quite sure what that meant when I heard that last night. Does Survivor restrict the players from exploring as much as they used to be able? Or did he mean that the game has become much more a social game where going out on your own to explore can be seen as reason to be cast out?

I think that Colby meant that he wasn't allowed to explore the rest of the island like he was able to on prior seasons. He was talking about going out with another castmate and just exploring. I think that the show restricted their movements.

Colby's comment about not being able to explore and stuff also made me realize that now they seem to give the contestants too much food and too many luxury items. For example, You NEVER see them out in the water trying to spear fish anymore. That takes too much away from the experience for us (to me), imagine what it's like for them if you have that mentality that Colby apparently had.

am i the only russell fan here? hahaha

YEAH

Sandra won !! I m happy

that was a good seson, awesome players great ending

Parvarti and Sandra are the best players ever on survivor.
ANd sandra winning means (for me) that she outwitted, outlasted and outplayed Pravati.

Reunion was fun too, I cant believe how delusional Russel is.
Btw I get now why he seemed so LOST at the Samoa reunion ;)

Colby's explanation makes no sense. What does that have to do with performing in challenges -- many of which he came DEAD LAST in behind people like Sandra -- the same challenges by the way, where the other castaways didn't seem similarly affected by "an inability to explore." Colby is older now (though not that old) and he clearly isn't where he used to be physically. That's it. End of story.

Gametime, I saw that picture of Russell you posted, and you know...had a stroke.

What it boils down to is simple. 9 times out of 10 its a game about caring. There's a reason he lasted so long in the last endurance challenge and its directly related to the reason he dropped out of the others immediately. Somehow he sensed he didn't need to win and didn't care enough to actually try. If you look at individual immunity most the time (not all) but most the people who need it are the people who make it to the end.

Parvati is being a sore loser on her interviews saying that the jurors were bitter and that she played better and should have won and Sandra didn't do much and only won by luck.

Does she remember that she told Russell that she would have voted for Sandra?

Well, I think Sandra won because she was buddy-buddy with the Heroes at the beginning of the merge (before they were picked off) without casting off her fellow Villains.

If Parvati had of been more friendly, she may have won...but still, the double idol move was brilliant.

I just wished Cirie had of made it to the merge. :(
