But since Jeff is trying to create hype, it automatically jumps to "FREUDIAN SLIP OMG TRAITOR, BRENDA WHAT DO YOU THINK OF SASH SAYING THAT?"

Naonka is clearly a producer's tool for entertainment, right? It's the only thing that justifies blowing up at people for no reason at camp, blowing up at people for no reason at TC, attacking Kelly One-Leg, stealing Fabio's socks, stealing food, lying about stealing food, farting on camera, and (apparently next week) giving someone the finger.

Well...it's either production tool or totally fuck insane.

I liked Alina, but I like Marty more. I think Marty will be gone soon though. I wonder how long Dan will last?

My Dan question is just for discussion. I don't want any spoiler answers.
 
Argh... I find it so hard to talk about this season now that I'm spoiled, because so many of my reactions toward the episodes before I got spoiled were focused on the editing and storytelling. :/

Like, it ruins any of the speculation I could possibly add now. At least back during HvV, just about everybody was spoiled so we could be like "next week this will happen, OMG!"

I will say that I wish this episode had more Holly. I really enjoy her for whatever reason. And I'm pretty sure a couple of big things happen involving Na'onka within the next 2-3 weeks so I'm sitting on my hands until then. Also, I'm getting tired of Jud being a fucking dumbass all day everyday.

I also asked my mom who she likes this season. She tends to like cute guys, particularly if editing makes them look super positive. Her faves in the past were people like Mick, JT, CI Ozzy, AO Colby, etc. and Brendon (but not Rachel), Jeff, etc. in BB. So no surprise that her favorite in Nicaragua is Chase. More surprisingly, she also likes Sash though. As well as Benry and Jane, which is the first time I really remember her having a female favo.

She hates Na'onka for being nasty, she thinks Brenda is a conniving witch, and she doesn't like Marty either. I also had to remind her that the blond girl actually had a name.

I remember my first big spoiler was when I was reading a Christopher Pike book and flipped to the end for some reason and it tells you who was pushed off the clip. I was so pissed.

One of my least favorite accidental spoils was when Christian Siriano won Project Runway. I'd been rooting for him all season, but would have loved to be surprised that he won.
 
I kind of hate it when someone does something particularly vile as Na did with the food, shares the info with someone else and that someone gets all the sludge from the act as Alina did. I liked Jud just for saying 'she stole all our food and she gets away with it." Marty also was pissed at that, but he is not anyone of any power whatsoever - he truly is alone.

When Marty is trying to convince people he should stay over Jane or Na or Alina he looks so pained and desperate. His face is flushed, his voice strained. You can tell this is hard for him to do since he probably called all the shots in his life.

I absolutely love Jane. She has got her feisty all rigged and ready to rumble. That she has connected to her homeboy Chase makes it even better.

I also like Benry a lot just because he is so cute/sexy.

But I love Jud. I love that he is stupid/and/or naive' enough to react to a bad deed. It seems like it was unconscionable to him and Na getting all up in his face for no reason irks him. That she crawled on top of him after she had a lot of food caused a "Oh now that your belly is full, I'm all right." comment. Having seen a couple of his modeling photos I think he is a hot babe. Even when he was trying to shut up Shannon at TC, when Shannon's mouth was a flood of dirt it seemed more shock than anything at what Shannon said, and especially the comment to Sash. "Dude, just shut up!" he almost yelled.

Shannon posts on his own thread at Sucks, and is just as much of an asshole.
 
Good episode last night. Felt like we finally got some face time with the unknown cast members.

I am really surprised everyone tolerates Nay. If someone pull the amount of shit she has, I would have voted her ass off a long time ago.
 
Sash pretty much confirmed that he's playing the Natalie to Na'onka's Russell last night. Na'onka's edit so far makes her look like the kind of person who is nice to her friends but awful to anybody else, and her friends are the dominant alliance, so I can see why they're keeping her around, only to drag her to the end as a goat.

OMG! Wow,Christopher Pike. You really brought it back. I used to feel so sophisticated reading that when all the other kids were only reading Goosebumps.

Anyways, I'm not sad at all to see Alina go. i was so tired of looking at her constantly bitchy face. And I never liked her after she tried to keep Shannon after he exposed himself as a sexist, homophobic asshole. Even Kelly B. had the good sense to change her vote.
 
I can't really hold something like that against Alina. She went into that tribal council clearly separated from Na'onka's alliance and she thought the five on Shannon's side were voting for Brenda until Shannon acted like a fool. She had no way of knowing that KB and Benry were going to switch, so she stuck with the plan.

Sometimes number games just happen and you get stuck on the wrong side. It's like when Kevin was stuck with Jessie and his witches in BB11. He clearly didn't like them, but it was too late for him to leave them and join with the other alliance.

I felt similarly. My reading abilities were above average especially at that age. I really loved the Remember Me trilogy. I also liked RL Stine. I don't read horror as much nowadays.

I thought Alina was too crafty for her own good. I'd forgotten how she voted in that first vote.
 
I felt bad for Alina simply because her going was basically all Nay's doing. Like Kelly with the leg Nay harped Alina like a Baptist minister preaching hell fire. Alina was dumb to take as much credit for the theft as Nay did. I also think Alina was the prettiest girl there after they voted Kelly out.

I get that Sashy wants to keep her because no one likes Nay. But nay has to be as dumb as a shit stack to steal, lie about it, come clean and lie as she is coming clean. When does the light bulb go off in her head that she is throwing the million away? It would be hard for the biggest die hard fan to give her the money after she stole and lied and was just so unpleasant all through. Socially and physically she is a total waste.
 
I just watched the Alina at Ponderosa clips. What a great looking place and she is such a beautiful girl. I loved her joy at the rain on her first night there and thinking about the others being miserable. I would have rejoiced in that, also.

Wrestling Lover, you are so loyal. I am not a Stash fan at all, but to each his own. I think you are going to love the rest of this season, especially the next 2 shows.
 
Brenda and Sash are intolerably arrogant.

Great show tonight. Personalities are shining through and dumb sometimes seems dumber than dumb. Chase, Jud and Benry seem to be leading that march with banners high. Then there is NoNookie. Geesh. STFU!!!!!!!!!
 
does anyone else feel like this is going to be like this past season of big brother now??? Boring to the end.... I would love to see Benry Fabio Kelly and Dan get together and get somewhere because the Sash and Brenda show is going to get old real quick. It makes me mad because the very first episode I loved Brenda. Oh well.
 
A lot of people seem to think this season is boring... I dunno, I don't see it personally. Maybe my standards have plummeted a lot after Samoa, AI9 and BB12. Now THOSE were boring seasons of reality TV.
 
I am enjoying this season more than the last 2 Hantz shows. I love the craziness of the characters and the tribals are just riveting because some people can't keep their traps shut. Marty's incessant finger pointing, NoNookie's rants and jibberish and coarseness, Jane's fiestiness.

I like the dumbness of Jud and Benry, and Chase's seemingly ineptness when I think he has probably got a mindset.
 
What bothers me is that NaOnka is supposed to be a teacher???? She is definitely a disgrace to the profession ---
