Survivor 22: Redemption Island

As long as they don't end the show and just replace Jeff, this could be excellent news!

Jeff needs to put on some weight. He looks way too skinny. He needs to start winning those reward challenges

Why all the Jeff hate? I hope there's no chenbot hate.

Chenbot is awesome because she's able to stay impartial and not interject herself into the game, which Probst does all the time. Chenbot also isn't an executive producer of Big Brother so she can't subject us to twists like "Redemption Island" or "Rob vs. Russell" and then tell the people who don't like these twists that they're not "true fans." And she doesn't create completely biased recaps with selective memory to start each episode.

Jeff has too much unchecked power over Survivor these days and he's one of the things killing the show, IMO. Redemption Island was all his brain child, and he's still defending it despite the fandom being so outspoken and negative about it, and Burnett HATES Russell, but Jeff wanted him back for the third time in four seasons.

What do you think about the two former castaways brought back for next season? One is a good choice; the other not so much, IMO.

Redemption Island was all his brain child
No it wasn't. Other countries' Survivor have been doing the Redemption Island format for several years. Jeff, as a co-producer, may have helped pursuade CBS to do it, but the concept definitely was not his idea.

Yeah, "brain child" was the wrong choice of words, but Jeff was definitely the one pushing it behind the scenes for US Survivor. And he's still defending it despite the overwhelmingly negative feedback from the fandom.
