Troyzan is gross and definitely not winning after the editors didn't even try to gloss over what a crybaby, sore loser, sexist asshole he is in tonight's episode.

I cannot believe non-casual fans on Sucks and other sites actually think Kim is the smug, cocky villain in this season when this lunatic is raving about how everyone is stupid and it's his island.

How can so many adults not understand how an auction works? If you bid, someone else can only beat you if they bid higher. Since no one had more than $500, all the women (looking at you Christina) had to do to prevent Troyzan from getting that immunity challenge advantage was bid $500 from the start, and all Troyzan had to do to get the advantage was bid $500 from the start.

My pessimism remains slip. And now I have to wait yet another week to see if your prediction will (hopefully) come true.

Sure, Troy could have shown more nobility. But still I love when the underdog who wants something so badly gets it all on their own. The girls haven't exactly been noble either; they were being just as insensitive to his position. At the end of the day it was just good old fashioned competitiveness with no harm done. I think Troy can still have enough jurors to respect his achievements. He hasn't quite reached Russell Hantz territory of shame.

Christina and Alicia are just blind; they had better chances with Troy's plan. This was the night for them to make an important bold move and they passed, just like Jay did a couple weeks ago.

Yeah I have to admit, having seen the entire episode (and decoding the always misleading previews) I'd be shocked if he DOESN'T get the boot next week.

The offer Troy made to Christina and Alicia actually made sense for them. I'm just glad they were both too stupid to figure that out (since I want Kim to win). Then again it's no guarantee that Kim or Sabrina wouldn't take those girls to the finals since neither Alicia nor Christina is liked enough to get jury votes. So maybe they just (correctly) figured their chances were better against a girl than any of the guys? Whatever the case, I'm just glad Queen Kim is still standing with immunity idol in tow.

Oh and Jay looked better with facial hair and island grime than he does all cleaned up.

I expect Troy to make it to final four or five but just miss out on Final Tribal, thus cementing his fan favorite underdog edit.

Kim is so laid back, chill and there's no "I am amazing and running the show and these people are my braindead puppets because I am the female Russell/Boston Rob/etc.!" cackling anywhere to be found. Just even-handed analyses of her options and positions in the game and never done in a way that assumes she'll always have her way.

The weird thing is that a lot of people who are hating on Kim's apparent arrogance are stanning over Troyzan screaming about how the island is his and his outrage over the girl's alliance "betraying" him... que. My good IRL friend and I have actually been arguing about this because he is pro-Troy and I'm obviously pro-Kim.

I think it's attributed to one or both of the following:

1. Kim has been successful navigating the game to the point that too many others, by comparison, seem just to be floating (even those in her most-trusted alliance: Chelsea and Sabrina).

2. There are people who don't like women being smart and self-sufficient to a point such people may believe one is too smart and too self-sufficient for one's own good.

No. 1 is more about being bored or disappointed with there not being twists to shake up the post-merge pecking order. No. 2 has more to do with a jealousy and resentment.

It's true. I remember being a casual fan and hating Ami's guts when I watched Vanuatu for the first time, which is weird because my favorite Survivors had always been women up to that point, but I just couldn't stand her alliance's dominance and her perceived arrogance. Rewatching the season it's pretty clear that her edit was mostly smoke and mirrors. Thing is, Kim's edit and personality are a lot more subdued and she has none of the editorial undertones of "man-hating lesbian" that Ami did.

Well I'm a bit disappointed. this season is kinda boring and the players are not what they used to be. Theres no real potential this season and we already know the girls are gonna take over. ANd we also know that Kim chelses sabrina & kat are potentially going to be the F4 and nobody moves...

I like this reward challenge because the winner is always the most perceptive player (ie correctly reading other people to figure out who they'll vote for) and that's clearly Kim. However if I were Kim I would've given up my picnic spot to Kat which would make her look even more awesome (notice how everyone voted Kim for all the positive questions) AND allow her to stay back at camp and do damage control.

I mean you're here for a million dollars, not a picnic you know?

Holy fuck Christina, though. If she would have just saved Troy by being a total dumbass I would have been so annoyed.
