It's not just his past. He still spouts off bigotries on his Twitter constantly and on his many appearances on Fox News.
 
My Survivor hang-outs are pretty much here and in one subforum on Survivor Sucks so it seems alien to me that there's a large portion of the fans that was anti-Natalie/pro-John in that exchange. I don't agree that Natalie was the one doing the provoking there because they clearly showed the viewers how John was heckling the other team, tripping up his opponents when he was on the course, and then encouraging his team to do the same. Obviously Natalie was going to go after him when Wes knocked her on her ass at John's insistence.

If John's bigoted comments were a one-off thing, I'd be more willing to write it off in the face of him co-existing/being friendly and comfortable with the minorities and gays on his season, sort of like Caleb from BB16 did, but John Rocker has a proven and repeated history of bigoted comments so this isn't really one of those cases for me.

I loved Jeremy stumbling over the big reveal to his tribe about John though. "He said RACIST AND HOMOSEXUAL THINGS!!!" Way to go, Social Justice Warrior.

That was EASILY the best episode of this season so far because the Blue tribe is a hot mess (--Natalie Anderson) of comical personalities while the Orange tribe is full of nameless bores. Four different people receiving votes is just so Survivor: Borneo-esque and amazing.

Jon and Jaclyn are a cute couple, and when Drew was getting panoramic helicopter shots of how he was the kingpin of his tribe, my boyfriend and I just looked at each other and laughed because we knew he was so getting booted. Kelley's constant eye rolls were glorious. The editors buried Keith hard in a noble attempt at misdirection, but the fact that Jeremy stuck with the girls <3 You go, Social Justice Warrior.
 
What a GREAT episode!!! Personally I would have loved to see Natalie or Jeremy get the boot, since Drew was one of my faves this season, but oh well... ohhhhh new teams next episode!!

What do you think the pairings will be this upcoming episode?

I like Natalie (actually loved her sister, too from AR) and do wish the women would get something done as exquisitely as they did in ousting Drew - the kind of man I truly despise and all his pomposity. Like Rocker it was great pleasure to see him leave and he did it with such surprise to himself. All that talk made his exit so delicious. His brother is cuter.

But on the show, he did seemed like a nice person. He even align himself with Josh, who is gay.
 
After watching last night's episode, I can't believe I used to like Drew.


He just came across as arrogant, snobbish , spoiled little brat kind of person. And he doesn't even know how to play the game.


I'm kind of glad that he gets voted off.

Has anyone seen a YouTube link of Survivor Live with Drew yet?

CBS doesn't work for me, have to be in US for it to work.

LOVING the fact that Malcolm is now the "sole" Survivor Live presenter. Better him that Jeff from Big Brother. What WERE they even thinking casting him and getting rid of Parvati by having her work behind the scenes?
 
It seemed like Malcolm was really hitting on Drew. I think he wanted to talk about their hair and modeling more than the game.
 
Oh, good, I was really wondering what word it is that we say often in the Survivor/BB threads that JUB was blocking out for whatever reason. I thought it was, like, "show" or something. Season?
