Survivor 29: San Juan del Sur (Blood vs. Water 2)

Before I forget, Jeremy did a great job during the Immunity Challenge.

I'm really starting to like him more and more. *|*

I like Reed. I am not so much so with Josh.

Jeremy whines too much without voicing his whines to someone other than dr.

It is good for me to see two gay men be affectionate on a prominent tv ****** It's as nice as Jon and his girl being lovey dovey. Their being celebant doesn't bother me. It is a rarity among gay men who usually go for the fly before the kiss.

I also like Keith even though he doesn't do a hellava lot of conversing.

As for Natalie. I loved the twinnies on both their seasons of AR and I still like them.

That Jeff even listens to the tribe seeking favors bothers me. I know in the past when a group has been hit hard he has brought food, but I hate that they ask and that he listens. Face the fucking hardship you came to enjoy. And stop pigging out.

I don't like Baylor or Missy.

I watched back the episode and I really do think slip is right and I was reading too much into it. I still prefer Natalie, Missy, Julie, Jon & Jaclyn (in that order) but I might have to move Jeremy up to that top category.

Also, since Josh and Reed are abstaining from sex until marriage, what if on their wedding night, they both lie there and realize, "Wait, we're both bottoms. Who's going to fuck us?"

Reed strikes me as more of the bottom between the two... wait, why am I thinking about this?

*mind bleach*

Let's replace that horrible thought by thinking of Jon and Jaclyn having sex. There, all better.

Next week: Merge. I think it's way too soon.
I agree. Ever since Survivor started scrambling the separate tribes before the merge, the merge occurs too soon. Lately, it's only one or two episodes later. What's the point of scrambling and redistributing the tribes if they merge so soon after?

It's always been that way, I think. The first tribe swap in Africa happened with 12 players left and then they merged at ten.

Another thing to keep in mind for this season is that they originally intended to have 20 players but a mother/daughter team had to drop out before filming for medical reasons. That probably changed some of production's schedule a bit too.

Also Sgt. Pepper if you wanted a reason why I prefer Trish over Missy, here's a good one:

GAWD I love her!

I still wish Lindsy hadn't exercised good judgment/sore loserness by quitting the game before she physically assaulted Trish. I would've given anything to see a Lindsy and Trish go at it like two cats.

Since Survivor previews are always misleading, I'm assuming that means she's safe this week. Also does Jon's comment abut trusting people in his alliance mean that the awesome Jeremy/Natalie/Missy/Baylor/Jon/Jaclyn/Julie alliance DOES pan out when they merge?

Wellllll...

God bless Natalie for calling out that bigoted ogre, although Survivor Preview Misdirection pretty much guarantees that Rocker won't be eliminated this week (maybe he'll use his idol?).

When you're right, you're right slip (and when I'm wrong, I guess I'm wrong twice).

The ultimate “Survivor” will be revealed during its finale on Wednesday, Dec. 17 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT). The two-hour episode will be followed by the one-hour live reunion show (10:00-11:00 PM, ET/PT), hosted by Jeff Probst.

The spring cycle of SURVIVOR (30th edition) will premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 25 with a special 90-minute episode, 8:00-9:30 PM, ET/PT

I like Julie and thought it was pretty shitty of the tribe to go through her bag on a witch hunt for trail mix, but... damn, what an awful time for her to quit and cripple the side that I like more.

Also, I think it's hilarious that there's been a quit for the last six seasons and Jeff doesn't even care anymore. He embarrassed Osten on national TV for three months even though he was totally willing to just let his team vote him off back in Pearl Islands, and Na'Onka and Purple Kelly got a gauntlet of shit for the double quit in Nicaragua, but for people like Julie and Lindsey it's like "You might punch Trish? Bye." and "You miss your man? Okay, get the bitch on a boat." WTF?

Not only am I disappointed Julie quit but UGH John actually wants to flip and vote out Jeremy, thereby screwing over the side full of ALL THE PEOPLE I LIKE for a group full of all the people I loathe.

Anyone think Missy will turn this around next week? I want Josh out so bad.

The whole conversation between John and Jaclyn seemed so contrived, like a producer told them to say those things. Has Survivor ever aired the swing vote proclaiming the side they're voting with? From the previews the "which side will they choose drama" is back, so I guess it doesn't matter.

Fans and players being outraged over quitters "taking their spot/chance to be on the show" are ridiculous as it is, but the backlash against Julie's quit is probably the most misguided yet. Yes, random Internet fanboys whining on Twitter, your chance to be on Survivor in the role of JOHN ROCKER'S LOVED ONE for Blood vs. Water 2 was ruined because Tits McGee went on the show in your place and quit. Give me a fucking break.
