Survivor 30 - Worlds Apart -

I was actually SO SURE that was going to happen after his condescending rant. I'm still hoping they included that bit because he will get taken out soon. Maybe Rodney's plan with Carolyn and Tyler will work after all?
 
Ugh this Mike/Dan show is getting old verrrry fast. My hope for this season is quickly going down the drain.
 
That sucked big time. What the f--k are these people thinking, especially the women. You ladies are setting yourselves up for extinction. Really girls? Prove me wrong. Shit, it had to be ....
 
Even if Sierra DID vote with Joe and the girls, it would have been a 6-5 vote.

Frankly I'd love to know what's going through Carolyn's mind though. Even if she does get to the end, she must know that she's disadvantaged automatically because she's an older woman which has been a death sentence for anybody in that demographic in the last several seasons. Tyler will crush her in the end so I don't know why she insists on sticking with him.
 
Yes, why do NONE of these older women learn that? (except Tina of course) Carolyn would at least have a shot if she went to the end with say, some combo of Hali/Shirin/Sierra.

Also, I like Joe (well, I like looking at Joe, otherwise he doesn't have much going on) but I wish he'd lose immunity and just get voted out. The earlier he goes, the quicker the attention can turn to booting Mike before the producers start throwing him idol and idol twists a la Tony.
 
That's the other thing that bothers me about Carolyn's game. She refuses to work with Shirin's alliance because she hates Shirin even though a) that alliance would be more beneficial for Carolyn and b) trying to go to the end with Shirin would be VERY beneficial for Carolyn.
 
Yup. She's one of those (many) women on Survivor and Big Brother who just wants to play with the guys. Normally it's the younger women/bikini bimbos who do that, so it's even doubly frustrating to watch Carolyn -- who is smart and confident etc -- make the same mistake. She's literally playing for third place right now.

I took a break after Survivor created that narrative for Tony to win Cagayan. (I didn't mind him win. What turned me off to the series was the manipulation.) So I skipped that second Blood vs. Water [San Juan del Sur] and have returned for World's Apart. I hope that wasn't a mistake. (I mean, my willingness to return to watching Survivor.)
 
This is obviously NOT going to happen, but my dream would be for Shirin to get to the end and have the jury votes of Joe/Jenn/Hali plus whoever else is pissed off at the other two finalists from the dominant alliance.
 
Hali's Ponderosa video revealed that she believed both that Will was still with the No Collars and that Shirin was the one who had turned and voted for her twice once they merged. So... yeah, even if Shirin gets there, it's not happening.
 
Oh good grief! If the No-Collars are that stupid/clueless, then they deserve to get voted off one by one.

Shirin and Carolyn to kiss and make up please.
 
It's that fucking Mike. Everything he does get big notice. Help me understand Dan and Rodney. How can you have brains like theirs and still be alive? Rodney is so dense I feel he looks at the world through his asshole. Dan, on the other hand, is an ugly, pompous, pure turd that has lingered too long in the toilet.
 
I agree with ^ about Mike. Would rather see Dan being voted off instead of Separated Twin Cassidy Freeman look-a-like Hali Ford. I absolutely LOVE Rodney, really hope he goes far. Next week could be a Jenn quit from the look of the trailer...? I hate quitters. If it happens, it'll be fourth season in a row of Quitters.

I really wish someone else would have found that idol, definitely not Churchy Mike.

How in the world is WILL still around?! He'll be the Missy of this season if he actually makes it to the end.

I'm thinking that we had a false read in giving too many Survivors too much credit. I think a number of them, including Hali, didn't know what was going on … and they did not anticipate the direction the game would be taking.
 
Shirin was practically down her knees worshiping Jenn when she played her idol last week, though, so why would they think she was against them? And why did Joe pick Will to go on the reward in this episode if they weren't wary of him?

I so wish Shirin or Jenn could win this season, but ;_;
 
Maybe Joe and Jenn know the score but Hali is just terrible at reading people? I mean she was genuinely shocked by the vote this week even though it wasn't a blindside (no matter what Survivor hashtags tell us).
 
I'm kinda dropping off the Carolyn train because she has become just a stone face. She has so little imput and blindly sits there with Tyler sucking Blue hole and letting it all slip by.

After Dan's senseless and mindless attack on Shirin I like her a lot better than Sierra. I love Jenn. There is something about her independence and her laugh. I hope the coming attractions turn out to be false. I like Joe because he ain't bad on the eyes and he is a great challenge competitor. I hate Rodney and Dan because they are so stupid and atrocious people. Mike murders my last nerve.
 
Not that I think she's actually going to win, but I'm trying to figure out if there's a duo Shirin could actually beat in the end based on what we know right now. Definitely Dan and maybe one of Will/Rodney? Joe/Hali/Jenn/Sierra vote Shirin, Mike votes Dan, Carolyn/Tyler/Will vote Rodney... too optimistic?
 
Im so disappointed afer this episode. Not because Hali was voted out but becasue they kinda told us who's going to win this season.

I'm usually not good with these 'winners edit' things (except when it's obvious 'a la tony') but man, I felt like they were telling us "its not worth watching the end coz obivously **'s gonna win"

I also do not get these players, they want to get rid of shirin while they should want to go to the end with her, just like you wanna go to the end with russell for exemple. Everybody can win against shirin and/or Rodney and they want to vote em out !!!

Man I was hoping Jenn could shake things up but I'm hopeless for the rest of this season
