I can't see Todd winning. I don't even think he is that smart; in fact I think he's just been lucky with his alliances. He essentially gave James both idols, and then later whines about James having them. Then he plots to get rid of James and catch him off guard, a plan that would have worked if he stuck to it, then gets confused and changes his mind. The type of strategic choices that he is probably accustomed to dealing with are in-flight beverages for airline passengers. But damned if he isn't cute.

Episode one he struck me as someone who talked a better game than he had. I remember thinking to myself, this seems like someone who will eventually get on m nerves. I got fooled at it progressed for a little while but now it's clear my first impression was right.

Yup. The sad thing is how easily hype builds and plays out on Survivor. The perception that Terry was "honorable" lead some on the jury to say he should have won Survivor even though he was a dick and a complete moron at strategy. Similarly this year, if Todd makes it to the finals, he could win because of the perception that he's a "master strategist." All of his flashy but no substance plans will indeed help him because these myopic voters will see only the flash. So sad really.

I still want to see James fuck him raw on the jury though.

I really don't think Survivor is nearly as guilty of this as some other shows are. You have to remember that if people are casting votes with a certain impression the show has to show at least how they would get that impression

Also your conversation with PG and Courtney FUCKING HILARIOUS. Aaron's still rolling on the floor laughing. I'm still not ready to forgive PG though, it takes a lot to earn your way into my good graces after throwing a challenge... A LOT.

Also if you looked at the pre-show commentary Jeff seemed to be in fucking love with Denise and we're like more than half way through and I don't know why.

James is good, but i hv a feeling tht he will probably get blind-sighted by Todd because of the fact that he has 2 idols and feels safe. Erik and PG are automaticaly gone cuz they were on the rong tribe and Denise is jst there b/c its her tribe.

B. Did anyone see the promo after Thankgiving's clipshow? It said Amanda is turning against her alliance and I ask myself is she playing the game solely so that I will love her. I'm so impressed by someone who's not going to settle for a definite second place. If she can get rid of James, PG, and Todd (Preferably in that order) than she's got a slam dunk. It would be wisest for her to keep Denise and Courtney though because Erik also is a serious jury threat.

When I saw the previews, I thought maybe the twist at tribal council got rid of Courtney or something to make Amanda not trust Todd and turn against him. I also thought she developed a little crush on Erik and wanted to keep him.

I don't think the twist is a double elim. They normal keep those in the same episode. And I'm pretty sure I saw PG, Erik, Todd, and James in the previews and I can't see how Courtney or Denise would ever get the majority of the votes at this point.

I don't see ANY reason why they'd get rid of Denise though. If they did that's just plain stupid. I think they might have an immediate challenge at tribal. If they do vote her off though I'll understand why Amanda is jumping ship in the promo.

Somebody who knows when the finale is should do the math for us. Since the jury started with 10th place then we've got the stupid Final 3 yet again and there were 7 people left when Probst made his ominous announcement. Or were they just going straight into a reward challenge or something less critical?

That's how my fantasy goes anyway -- Aaron fucks me until he gets tured, pauses to recharge and Colby takes over in the interim until Aaron is ready again

Me and Aaron like to spice it up. We keep it pretty varied. Colby is pretty much all top though... silly cowboy.

LOL! The recap show didn't have enough of Aaron but it did remind me of how scrumptious he was. Seriously -- why didn't they show MORE of this man??

If Todd or James wins I will seriously barf.

If Amanda screws them over I will love her so much for not settling for second. She could totally do it to. She could easily convince Todd to boot James and the next week get rid of Todd. It would be smartest for her to bring Courtney and Denise though because I feel like Erik maybe able to charm a few votes and PG is already perceived as a great strategist.

Amanda is definitely in a good spot right now. She is tight with Todd and has shown is the only one who can really influence Todd. If this isn't Todds game(which I 100% feel it is), it's definitely Todd and Amanda's.

Everyone but Todd, Amanda and PG are just floating around. James has two idols. He doesn't care at all what's probably going to happen in the next few weeks which is why he'll be real easy to blindside.

Like I've said before(and been bashed before for saying it) this is STILL Todd's game. I don't see how people aren't seeing this...

if you guys don't think this is Todd's game, who's is it? I'd really like to hear opinions on who you think is controlling this game.

I still see Todd in the finals and Amanda will probably be right next to him. The problem is(like a previous season, i forgot which), how much will the jury know about Amanda's influence and game? She's shadowing behind Todd right now so if she wants to shine she needs to get herself out there, otherwise it's going to look like Todd carried her to the end(which is way false).

James is an idiot, way more than I thought. It's like he's never watched Survivor before. "Oh, I trust all these people. No way they would ever lie to me. Especially when I'm their biggest threat in the game."

I really don't know who to favor now. Definitely not PG, Todd, Erik, or Courtney. That leaves Denise and Amanda. Denise's mullet is too difficult to watch, so I guess I'm now cheering on Amanda.
