Tell me more about Andreus

^I'd wondered that for a second or two, Rareboy.

Whoever created Andreus had a creative well of genius. Stacy writes. :) It would take a person with a most remarkable imagination.

Somehow, though, even though I haven't had the pleasure of knowing Stacy too well, I can't actually see her perpetuating such a fraud.

I can at least testify that Stacy exists - I've met her and talked to her in the flesh. That of course wouldn't be an argument against her being the puppeteer.

Perhaps the best argument against the theory is that she used to be (to coin a term) violenty anti-puppet. She used to take great exception to people lying or misrepresenting themselves on the Internet. Now she seems far more prosaic about it. Again, one could argue that this might just be specifically to throw us off the scent, but one would think it would make more sense to keep her "ground character" as static as possible.

Because we know that no one had a sense of humour as good as Andreus...I'm sure he's roffling all over heaven.

BTW. A photo of his Ascension or someone told me....

"Activity" could just mean that someone went to his Profile and his profile auto signed activity on the page as visitors to the page ??

it was lexington.

In hot topics.

With the lead pipe!

MOVING IMAGE: A green-skinned, side-winged gargoyle picks up a small pile of cards, flips through them, then surreptitiously leans over towards xbuzzerx. He flashes one card to him briefly, then returns it to the pile.

Others have said that earlier checks revealed his profile showed the last activity as being 6 years ago.....you have to admit that it does seem a bit "suspect" that this thread is created and now the latest activity shows as being within the last week and a half....

Even if this thread did spur more people than is normal to go look at his profile, considering his "status" on JUB, no amount of clicks in the last 6 years have been enough to change it? No amount of Mods/Admins being "in there" changed it....??

6 years. SIX YEARS.

Hmmmmmm.....

I would love for a moderator to confirm the functionality of the "last activity" feature. Does it require the individual to log in?

If so, it would represent the first interesting thing here that rises beyond navel-gazing speculation, and it would be highly indicative of the truth.

Hmmmmmm..... Fascinating.

The plot thickens!

It would be nice if a MOD stepped in and gave all the answers and cleared everything up instead of allowing this witch hunt to go on.

As soon as I saw that the activity date had changed I raised the question at Mod Towers. Until a tech person answers, I'm as bewildered as anyone.

There's no way of tracing where the IP came from that logged in ??

It depends on the strength of his password. If was easy to guess, someone else could have accessed his account.

So someone hacked into his account, and...then left? I'm trying to picture somebody breaking into my house just to turn around and leave.

^The research I did conclusively showed that "Andreus Thanos", at the very least, was a pseudonym.

No kidding! I'm beginning to suspect that "quasar" and "borg69unimatrix" might be pseudonyms too, Mr. Bessler.

Because, to take another example, even when people use a screen name like "soilwork" they are 100% likely to tell you their real name because everyone is just as open as Jasun. If they don't then obviously fake.

Quasar and borg68unimatrix didn't have a poster vouching to know them personally offline validate that those are their real life names.

We went through all of this in the thread.
