YAY!!! Though the prices of the rooms are high...even at 15% off. I guess I'll be hitting the standard room.....hmmmm....roomie anyone?

Well, I'm planning to request a standard room myself. I would offer to share, but someone gets real incensed. Evidently I have a problem with promiscuous flirting.

Honestly? The room rates are a little on the high side. But its only for one night and those rooms look spectacular. I wonder if its one of those hotels with a day spa... Ooh! Lets all sign up for facials!

You can upgrade to a 225.00 room with a roll away bed and four people can stay and split the 225.00 before discount.

I've already booked a single, but I'm willing to share, and if it's decided that you don't want to share a QUEEN size bed, we can get a roll away.

I'm saving my nickels and dimes and slowly planning the trip. I may have to hold on final prep, as I was informed yesterday that I may have to attend a training seminar over spring break . The only good thing about that is the district would pay me a stipend for lost vacation. Keeping my fingers crossed that the training is the week after spring break...

Alright my TA has made reservations for the 17th - 20th at Crescent Court. She said it's a nice hotel. Anybody familiar with it and the location? Sorry, the only stipulation for my being there is that we have a separate hotel. Hey...I don't argue with him, at least he's agreed to let me go AND to come with me! Really, you have no idea what a monumental achievment this is for me to get Dean to do this.

Guys this oughta be a BLAST! I'm really jazzed! REALLY! Can't we do it like TODAY!? LOL...okay I can wait then.

The Crescent Court eh? Swanky! Actually the Crescent is right across the river from The Bellmont, and strategically locate to everywhere we're going to be that weekend!

How many guys will be able to be in Dallas Friday evening the 17th? We can do "Cruising the Crossroads," down on the strip as a group if ya'll like.

Well, unless a said someone tells me not to come, (he knows who he is) we're driving in on Friday, so I suspect we'd be there late afternoon. Figure ten hours drive time or close to that. Don't know how tired we'd be once we get in.

Exactly what is this Crossroads thing? Knowing that would help determine if it's something we'd be up to doing after being on the road for 10 hours.

It's a "bar thing." Cruising the Crossroads is a an event where each Caven Enterprises Bar serves drinks for $1.75 between certian hours, where there's no cover, and everyone is welcome. http://www.caven.com/

I'm not a big bar whore, but since I'm one of the hosts of this event would be more than happy to meet anybody anywhere that weekend to share my Dallas!

First we become "Official" and now we have a celebrity attending? We have one of the winners of the JUB Men Amateur Contest! Man... I think I'm going to need to get myself a new Green Lantern T-shirt for the event!

Looks like this could be a fun weekend. Am I understanding this that we are getting together only on Friday night? I'll be in town Friday and Saturday and fly out on Sunday a.m. Anyone else hanging around for the weekend?

I don't see any reason why we can't start the event Friday night. I'm hoping that some of the local Dallas/Ft. Worth guys will be up for getting together both Friday and Saturday night. Then late Saturday afternoon/evening we can all have dinner somewhere (I'm still looking at a couple of places to host us), then we can all go our for drinks at another location after dinner (friends of mine own a "Gay" tavern and are interested in hosting us complete with drink specials), then we can head over to the strip for more partying/dancing or back to the hotel for drinks and a swim in the heated pool www.belmontdallas.com.
