The Coming of Josh

Thanatos is right in that both boys have some 'splainging' to do. Rowen is exhibiting jealousy when it comes to Lucky. Does he want to be Lucky's number one boy or does he have romantic feelings for him? I'm not clear on his motives just yet. And what is Clay going to tell Kenny? Does Clay have deep seated feelings for Kenny, or was he just using him for information and a huge self-promoting story or was there some of both. Clay did save Kenny from a life of crime and pulled him out of it, albeit Kenny was almost killed in the process, but he is out of it now. I can imagine totally doped up on pain killers and half conscious for a day or two what must have been running through Kenny's mind. Sounds like a case for Dr. Wayne. Maybe Clay will need counseling also to help him figure out his own feelings. Several of the boys had tremendous pressure on them to help solve this. It's hard to tell what was real and what wasn't as they navigated their way through all this mess to its conclusion.

Still trying to figure out Rowen and his dislike for Cooper. Sounds like jealousy there, but why? Interesting circumstances you've created, FT. Clay will have to come clean with Kenny that it was just for information about W&S at first but turned the more he got to know Kenny.

Rowen needs to talk to Dr. Wayne in the worst way to find out why he, a "straight" man seems to be throwing himself at Lucky.

Cooper did find an apartment thanks to Josh telling him Logan's old apartment would soon be available.

Thanks, Thanatos, BC and Brian. You guys are catching on somewhat, but remember things are not always as they appear to be going. There are always a few bumps in the road. Clay and Kenny get to talk in this next chapter with Josh present. They discuss where their relationship is and what it might mean for the future. Rowen becomes even more frustrated with Lucky. Josh helps him chill by giving him some time off away from Lucky. So the fun continues.

Chapter 781 – Clay and Kenny Talk and Rowen Struggles

I held my breath as to how Clay was going to answer Kenny’s question as to their relationship, was it meaningful or was he just being used for investigative information and a huge news story. Kenny wanted to know if he was a pawn in all of this or did he and Clay actually have a loving relationship. Clay and I never discussed the real ramification of what their relationship truly was, other than he cared about Kenny.

“Kenny, first of all I really care about you or I wouldn’t be here today. I do care about you and even Josh and some of my cohorts have grown to care about you. Your act of heroism did not go unnoticed either, assuring us you are a man of character after all, someone to care about. It might not have started out that way but the more you and I worked together the more I developed feelings for you. Are we going to be a romantic couple together for life? I don’t know the answer to that. I don’t know your legal situation going forward either. This I will tell you is that I am here for you now, and I intend to be by your side and help you in any way I can to put this all behind you. After that, it’s up to you and me where we go from there. I’m not leaving you on your own, and even Josh has secured the best legal counsel for you that can be had. I’d say that shows how much we’ve grown to care about you. Kyle even forgave you yesterday. I felt unloved, uncared about like no one would give a shit if I died and no one ever saw or had to think of me again. I swear I think I died and went through hell, Clay. I really thought I was in hell. I don’t know if it was the pain meds or what, but it was horrible. I never want to experience anything like that again,” Kenny said as he squeezed Clay’s hand.

“Have you felt that way since that one experience? Are you having reoccurring nightmares or anything like that?” Clay asked. Kenny sighed.

"Not since I talked to you. You were my angel who rescued me from hell and brought me back,” Kenny replied, as Clay chuckled. “No seriously, seeing you, and you kissing me the first time I saw you after I regained consciousness, brought me out of whatever funk I was in. I swear I think I died for a short period of time and I spent that time in hell. I’m not kidding, as it scared the shit out of me, Clay. It really did. I’ve never been so horrified and scared in all my life. Maybe it was someone telling me to clean up my act. I don’t know other than it scared the shit out of me,” Kenny explained. Clay kissed him again.

“I can kiss you as much as you need if it will make you think pleasant thoughts,” Clay replied smiling as he held Kenny’s hand.

“You being here this morning has helped tremendously. I know I don’t deserve you, but I sure as hell love you, Clay. You’re the only piece of happiness I have to hang onto in this world now, Clay. The only one,” Kenny told him.

Hell, I might need to talk to your good doctor about what I feel now that this is over and the stress of immediate danger is gone. Everything in my head, up until this point, was a plan to be executed to end all of this and file the biggest story Uni has ever seen and hopefully will ever see. Kenny was a means to that. I know if I didn’t care about him, I never would have agreed to have sex with him and string him along. In a way, I kind of feel guilty about that now,” Clay confessed.

You had nothing to do with what Kenny did to save Lucky’s life, but you had everything to do with saving Kenny’s life and getting him out of the horrible situation he was in. You can be proud of that. Just take it easy. No one says the two of you have to be boyfriends. After all, that’s the opportunity you had with Marvin. Can you imagine Marvin living with you and inviting Drake over to fuck on weekends at times. That would have driven you crazy. “No, Josh. He’s too damn straight. The mere mention of that would traumatize him and we’d hate each other afterwards. That could possibly kill the wonderful caring relationship we have. “Yes, and I feel better now, thank you. There were some people at the vending machines asking about you and how you were doing. I told them you were doing great, and were hopefully going home this coming mid-week we thought. They all thought that was great,” Rowen replied.

“Thank you for being my public relations chairman also in addition to keeping me on the right track to recovery,” Lucky told him remembering about praising him when he could. Rowen was all aglow. “Thinking of going home, you sure you want to take care of me there? Won’t that hinder your internship and you graduating on time. I don’t want to be the reason for you not graduating, Rowen. I couldn’t live with myself if it was my fault,” Lucky told him.

“You are the most important need in my life at the moment. There will be other classes to graduate from, but only one chance to help you. You’re my partner and I’m sticking with you, partner,” Rowen said then fist-bumped Lucky. I was happy to see that.

“Still I feel bad about that. I won’t need constant care as I’ll be able to get around fairly well, especially at home and be more comfortable there,” Lucky told him.

“What if you fall and can’t get back up possibly injuring yourself again and have to come back to the hospital? I couldn’t live with myself if that happened. Best I be there at your side to make sure you don’t fall. I can run get us food or even make food for us. We can chill together and even have Josh and the guys over to help keep you happy while you heal,” Rowen suggested. Lucky said he liked the sound of that, then rolled his eyes at me, as if to ask if he’d have any private time for friends with benefits, thinking this could be more like prison than home. I chuckled.

Just then they brought Lucky’s lunch in and put the tray on the table in front of the chair where he was sitting. The orderly placed it where he could eat. Rowen positioned himself in front of Lucky to help feed him. “Hold off there, bud. I’m going to try to feed myself. It’s about time we quit babying me and let me get my manhood back,” Lucky told him. “I can use my right arm and Cooper suggested I try to whenever I could but not overdo it. He said it is good exercise, kind of what he and Rowen are doing with their therapy they do on me. At this stage, Cooper says I need to try to do as many things on my own as I possibly can. Get this, tomorrow morning, he says I have to undress myself, shower myself and then dry myself, to see if I can bathe on my own. He’ll be there to watch me and catch me if I stumble or fall, but he wants me to do as much of it as I possibly can on my own. I guess he’s getting tired of washing my nut sack, cock and asshole. I guess that’s not the most pleasant of tasks when they’re not your own, but for some reason, I kind of got the idea he rather enjoyed it with me. Still, he wants me to do it on my own. He says that’s the fastest way to recovery and getting back on my own two feet. He said he gets sleepy after they give him his mid-day medication and a nap feels good. “Well, Rowen, why don’t we let sweet cheeks get a nap and we go get something to eat?” I suggested. Rowen seemed rather hesitant at first, but then agreed if Lucky was going to nap, having spent several boring afternoons with him while he slept.

“Go ahead and go to the party at the house of you want. You can come back later tonight and kiss me goodnight if you want to,” Lucky suggested. Rowen said, nothing doing as he wanted to be here for Lucky. I told Lucky I might if he didn’t mind as there were some things I needed to cover with some of the guys that I hadn’t been able to get to his week since his shooting. “I promise not to escape and to do everything the nurses tell me to do,” Lucky replied. “You guys need some R&R also after the week you’ve had dealing with everything and then with me,” he commented. Rowen said he was in for the long haul, and would be back after getting something to eat. We got up to leave. I leaned in and kissed him tenderly on the lips, telling him I loved him and to behave this afternoon. I asked him what was troubling him. “I don’t know. I just want Lucky to be better and out of the hospital. I don’t like it when that Cooper guy is around. I mean he seems like an okay guy, but Lucky really likes him and there is no reason why he should, just getting out of a relationship. He needs to take his time before he gets into another,” Rowen replied.

“Rowen, that might be true, but it’s his life, and only he can decide what he wants to do in life. He liked the loving relationship he thought he had with Marvin. Unfortunately, that didn’t last and wasn’t real to begin with. Once you’ve had love, you feel empty when it’s gone and he’s feeling that right now. Cooper seems like a great guy, but only time will tell. Lucky is kind of smitten with him which is understandable, as he’s cute and has a cute personality. That caught Lucky’s attention as he has to work with him a few times a day and Cooper’s helping him. Lucky feels somewhat of a bond of friendship with him which pleases him. It’s all innocent so it’s no big deal. Will it develop into something, we don’t know. Only time will tell and a lot of things and other people can change all that. Cooper might fall in love with someone not even like Lucky. You just never know who he knows and who he’s attracted to. He’s pleasant to Lucky and probably to all his patients. He seems like a very personable kind of guy actually,” I explained.

“Well he doesn’t know Lucky like we do, Josh. He might think he does, but he doesn’t,” Rowen replied.
