the dislike of tattoo's...

Oh, I never answered the question. When should he have stopped? When he was happy. And if he's still not happy, he should go back and get more work done.

Lex

That's like telling an addict to stop when they're happy. Unless someone else is telling you 'no', they will keep going.

Tattoos are not my thing but they do not look that bad on him.

However, back in the real world, if I walked in to work with an exposed arm tattoo, they would ask me to cover it up and I would get a written referral (not the good one). Hell I knew one of my friends who wanted to teach at a elementary school but they would not hire him because he had a neck tattoo despite his good credentials.

The problem is not that they have tattoos. It's that they have them in the wrong places and look ugly.

LOLZ just kidding.

I think the one with the flame near his stomach is kind off..trying way to hard.

I had a fuck buddy once who was such a hot fucking guy. He had all kinds of tattoos and they were SUCH A HOT turn on. I also know a man who is somewhat spiritual and tribal. He looks like a beast but he puts his tattoos in the right places and they have meaning.

I think the factors are the size of the tattoo, what the tattoo is, and the guy that's it's on.

I find symbol or tribal tattoos around the chest or on the back to be very hot. I'd prefer tats over piercing's anyways.

>>>That's like telling an addict to stop when they're happy. Unless someone else is telling you 'no', they will keep going.

And what if they do? Body ink isn't cocaine. It doesn't cause health problems. If they want to fill every square inch of their skin with ink, and then have it removed and start all over again, like some sort of human Magic Slate, that's totally their call.

Yeah, some employers won't hire people with visible tattoos. To which my heavily tattooed friends say "I wouldn't want to work for a place where I couldn't display my ink." And I think that works out fine for everybody.

>>>Let's face it, his sleeve tattoo is grotesque and the others are ill conceived at best. I think it's great for people to say their tattoos are of a personal nature or hold special meaning, but that does not mean their tattoos are immune from being ugly OR that their tattoos do not diminish the overall appearance of their bodies.

But, see, YOU think the sleeve tattoo is grotesque. YOU think so. And that's fine. Other guys might find it a massive turn-on. Mentioning that "tattoos diminish the overall appearance of their bodies" indicates there is one standard by which attractiveness is measured - yours. The fact is that anything one does to one's body - be it tattooing, "manscaping", piercing, or even just combing the hair a bit differently - is going to result in some people liking it more and some people liking it less. All that matters is whether the person doing it likes it.

Lex

He should have never started! The male body is a work of wonder. No cheap "art?" can improve it. Tats just deface all that beauty.

Well, I've yet to meet anybody who stuttered in their typing rather than speaking, but hey, I guess there's a first time for everything. :)

Let's face it, his sleeve tattoo is grotesque and the others are ill conceived at best.

Your definition of grotesque is correct but incomplete. The first (and most common) usage of the term is "odd or unnatural in shape, appearance, or character; fantastically ugly or absurd; bizarre". Or, if I may sum up, "fucking weird". When you start a sentence with "Let's face it", you're talking about (assumedly) common-held opinions, not facts. One wouldn't say "Let's face it - I live in Colorado." You'd say "The fact is - I live in Colorado", but "let's face it - Colorado is a great place to live". Following up with "the others are ill-conceived at best" further suggests that you're stating an opinion rather a fact.

But if you'd rather play the semantic game, hey, feel free to topple this shaky argument. It beats working. :)

Anyone seen one of these?

Precisely. Some small ones I've liked. But I'm not much a large tattoo fan. I don't even care if it has "meaning" - it doesn't matter whether you got it because it reminds you of your dead twin brother, or because you got it on a dare. They still look like tattoos from this angle. :) But I leave that a personal decision. If I don't like the way they look, I'll deal with it - simple as that.

Yes, I have seen this ^ several times before, and I am pleased to say, I would not get this particular tattoo, but I would be quit pleased to be the man doing the tattooing of that nice cock. I wonder how many loads of cum he yielded in the process?

I would love to look around the lockerroom when this man walks from the locker to the showers, or stands there among us men in a communal shower. It must be hard not to share or get your own woody.

Hey guys. An issue thats been bugging me i just wanted some mixed opinions on. This is mainly aimed at guys that honestly dont like tattoo's. Im not really interrested in the 'i hate tattoo's, but...' guys.

Basically i posted pictures of this amazingly fit guy in the male celebs forum, and most of the posts were about how he has ruined his hot body with tattoo's. as someone that has them , i think his tatt's are amazing.
Heres 4 pictures of the guy in question at different stages when he got/extended his tattoo's.

so to those that dont like tattoo's, should he have never got the first one, or when should he have stopped??

what is it about tattoo's you dont like?

has anyone ever had a tattoo that they 100% regretted and had removed? (i dont mean an ex-lover/partners name etc, because that must have meant somthing to you at the time)

Ive found always that whenever someone says they dont like tattoo's and when you show them yours they instantly change their mind. or they are lying i suppose, has never stopped them sleeping with me though....

It is a matter of personal choice, but it speaks of a certain level of narcisism. Sometimes we men do have a tendency to stand too much in front of our own mirrors and get caught up. I like looking at another man's body, tattoos or not.

I hate tatoos. They just feel pointless to me. It's about as bland as a "personality" statement as someone can make and it's ugly to look at. On guys and girls.

A "hot guy" having one doesn't change my dislike of them. It's a complete turn-off. I don't like apples either; even if Megan Fox was biting into one it wouldn't change my impression or feelings toward the fruit itself.

In the first photo, it looks like he already has something tattooed on his left hip, but you can't see it because it's covered up by his speedo. But in the first photo he looks okay.

The second photo also look okay, because the two tattoos are similar and they tend to balance each other out.

The third photo makes him look a little funny, because now the arm has more detail than the tattoo on his side and it throws the balance off. It makes the tattoo on his side look like a sketch that hasn't been filled in yet. The arm looks funny because the tattoo it stops at the elbow. There's nothing below or above it. What's on the forearm is so crowded that from a distance it looks like an ink stain.

The last photo is too much. I suppose when he's naked, the tattoos really look off balance. All the detail and color is on his right arm and shoulder and right pectoral. And what's with the Latin phrase Ego Deligo? "I Choose..." Choose what? And I agree with what others have said here, it's too much.

I think tattoos are really sexy when done right. The guy in your first post, tommy, is a sight to behold.

And I love piercings as well. I love guys who have diamante earrings.

Here's how it is:
It's like he went for a really bad haircut that I don't like, and I don't think it flatters him. Except instead of getting his head shaved in a couple of months, he has this haircut for the rest of his life. Years and years and decades of the same bad haircut. That he had to pay thousands of dollars for, and make his skin bleed pointlessly in order to obtain.

But instead of saying "dude, what happened to your hair?" and just taking the piss out of the guy till his hair grows out, the reaction is "How dare you! This haircut is my identity! I decided to get this haircut to 'Remind Me of Who I Really Am!' ™ If you don't like my tattoo then you don't like me. Wah wah wah, me me me."

Well, if you can't tell the difference between you and your tattoo and your ideas and your identity, then no, I probably wouldn't.

At the same time, I think it is a fairly trivial kind of stupidity. It wouldn't stop me from getting to know the hot guy in the pink shorts. It would just be like finding out that my dream guy, who I would definitely intend to date, is perfect in every way but he has Donald Trump's hair stylist and he loves it. It is pointless to try to change him. He's still lame and I'd still make fun of it. But sometimes we just accept the stupid things that others do because they really aren't that important, and because they still look hot in the pink undies.

After pic 1 he starts to look ridiculous. And totally unappealing by pic 4. He looks like he's trying too hard. And not succeeding.

The problem with tatts is that they look hot when you're 25, but will start to look like shit when you're 40.

But we all love your tatts Tommy.

I got my first one in my 40s
