They are targeting the houses of Hamas leaders in different towns in the strip...but seem slow to take over larger sections of Gaza north which they will have to control entirely in order to solidify their occupation

The problem with leadership in Gaza and in Israel is that no one with authority is interested in stopping.
 
IDF announced that they now control Ash Shati district....with more than 1000 militants killed...they are now clearing the district where more than 80% of buildings were siad to be rigged with explosives.

Israel now controls the entire coast of northern Gaza.
 
I would say that Israel has made it pretty clear to the people of Gaza that the rule of Hamas is over.

They completely blew up the parliament buildings today...as in reduced to only rubble.
 
Today, as IDF take over the Al Shifa Hospital complex they are showing videos of the weapons caches in various locations in one of the buildings. It does look more extemporaneous than using the Hospital as a major ammunition store or command base...but there is no question that storing grenades and weapons in a Hospital is contrary to the conventions of war and makes it more understandable why the seige by IDF is able to be contested from within.
 
IDF is broadening control over Gaza City and reports of Hamas attacks have largely ended. Al Shifa was likely one of the last real battlegrounds and because it was used by Hamas...it is being demolished. This will be the case for every civic building that Hamas turned into or used in their war.

Today France and other nations are squawking about what Israel can or cannot do and about the future of Palestine.

The terrible reality is that as a result of the Hamas build-up and invasion, there is no future for Palestine. Israel will never again allow the Gaza strip to become what Hamas made it over the last 17 years.

There can be no good outcome...Hamas and Israel have gone too far beyond red lines for that.

Yesterday Ahmed Bahr, the leader of Hamas died in Gaza City from his injuries.

There is almost no activity being mapped today, so maybe everyone took a break to worship their version of God.
 
Both sides are fine with rolling back the clock the dispute lies in when to stop it. The chinese can play the same game and would probably stop their clock much closer to an Israeli timeline than a Palestinian one.
 
Israel says it has encircled the Jabalia refugee camp in northern Gaza, which effectively would mean that the city is now divided into two pieces. IDF needs to divide Northern Gaza into smaller quadrants in order to effectively squeeze out the remaining Hamas positions and fighters.

IDF is also bombing Nuseirat in the mid Gaza region in order to eliminate Hamas leaders and positions there.

In Gaza City, Israel is showing the bomb making lab and weapons found inside a mosque as well as tunnels that are part of a network. I imagine that every mosque that has been used by Hamas in this way will be levelled and likely every mosque in Gaza scoured to ensure it isn't a front for Hamas activity.
 
In a fit of cynical irony and hypocrisy...RF Foreign minister/war criminal Lavrov is calling for a ceasefire and return of hostages.

RF has kidnapped more than 10,000 Ukrainian children and slaughtered God knows how many thousands in Ukraine, not to mention the other other countries they have invaded in the last 20 years.....
 
So Biden and the US may have successfully brokered a deal for a 5 day ceasefire and return of hostages.

Meanwhile, Bibi has told everyone that Mossad are to destroy the leaders of Hamas, no matter where they are.

I think that by the end of this, it will take another whole generation to recreate Hamas because it took years to create what it was when rrrZZZia and Iran conned it into thinking that it could invade and take over Israel.

I think that I will likely be dead by that point...
 
Predictably, within 8 hours of the ceasefire, explosions and gunfire was heard in North Gaza.

Israel has again made it clear that control of North Gaza is crucial as a first step in this war. They will never de-occupy it again.

They are getting bombed every day and are not allowed to use those extensive tunnels as bomb shelters. They must know what Hamas is and how concerned they are about the civilian population of Gaza. It must be tough deciding who you hate more those bombing you or those who see you as useful targets.
 
Israel is impacting the relevance of the Holocaust in the manner in which it is intentionally bombing women and children.

America is being draged down with Israel, not that we held any moral high ground after Iraq.

Many countries will have the freedom now to disregard the relevance of the Holocaust with Israel now openly slaughtering non-combatants. The U.S. support for the war crimes will mute our own protests of the same in Ukraine.

The refugees have no choice but to support Hamas. Israel has openly violated the peace accords and the agreements not to build new settlements. Israel has grown its own terrorist state by its violations, and the U.S. will now likely see attacks again on our soil for our misdeeds in supporting the Israeli pogroms.

We acted all shocked after 9/11 even though we knew we sewed the seeds with our manipulations of the Gulf States. Now, we'll see it again and for reasons we have caused.
 
We have enough of our own crap, we don't need to be blamed for Netanyahu's.
