the last film you watched thread

Taken

Let's just say that Liam Neeson's character was the luckiest SOB Ever! Everything just fell into place for him to rescue his daughter. For me, it just wasn't believable.

The girl with a dragon tattoo - Well for one, and I am not sure why, but I for some reason thought that this was a semi-kids movie like Harry Potter and thought that it was also sci-fi and dealt with dragons. I have no idea why I thought this, so imagine how confused I was when I started watching it. Asking all of these questions such as why is it in swedish (or whatever language it was), how it is that they are showing a rape in a kids movie. Oh well...I thought that the movie was ok, just long.

the last english movie would be charlie st cloud after that is killers!

I can't stand regular TV, so I always pop in a DVD while I'm eating or loafing. I'm currently in an Abbott & Costello phase. We have all their movies in some DVD package.

So...

"Abbott and Costello Meet the Invisible Man"

Master of the Flying Guillotine. The premise really is inspiring.

Star Trek (2009).... finally.

Any decent Star Trek fan should slap me and tell me I don't deserve to be a ST fan. :D

Orphan

"Maybe it's not unusual for her to say. Who knows, maybe at the dinner table her last family said pass the fucking potatoes." :rotflmao:

"If I find out that you're lying, I'll cut your hairless little prick off before you even figure out what it's for. Do you understand me?" :rotflmao:

I think it was supposed to be a scary movie but I laughed an awful lot.

AT SWORD'S POINT. A kind of sequel to THE THREE MUSKETEERS with Maureen O'Hara, Cornell Wilde(yum)in his prime, Dan O'Herlihy and Alan(the Skipper)Hale, Jr. as the offspring of the Musketeers. So-so, but fun.
