Strange scenario, read impossible, but well filmed and enjoyable to watch.
 
Pontypool (2008) has ambitions to say something sophisticated about semiotics, but comes across more like the feverish musing of a caffeinated undergrad.

Quite amusing in parts. Obviously loved "Baby Groot"

Alien Vs. Predator - Had not seen the first one in a long time. It was alright, certainly better then the 2nd one lol.

It wasn't as bad as the critics were saying. The settings were incredible, the story line an interesting twist on a well known story and the acting convincing.
 
A Quiet Passion, a highly fictionalized biography of Emily Dickinson. Highly artificial. Tedious and depressing. The few known facts of Dickinson's life are much more interesting than what has been invented for this film.

 
Alien: Convenant

In the end I really wanted to like this movie and there are things to like but I can't get beyond some of the decisions these characters made in this movie that were just dumb. Plus the theme was beat over your head a little bit even though I did enjoy what that was about.
