Saw gone girl on friday. Did not think it was that good but got a little look at Bens dick.

Damn you! I hate to double dip but I'll be picking this up again. I have the one from what... 2 years ago.

Last time it got released was 2008. Disney always take around 5-7 years to release their movies from the vault again.Yeah, I had to double dip as well.

Otherwise soporific, I thought a couple things made The Dark Knight Rises (2012) interesting: its conservative anxieties and its often homespun resemblance to christian apocalypse movies.

A slightly shocking, subtitled, Italian film called The Flavour of Corn / Il Sapore Del Grano (1986) about a confused but gorgeous young schoolteacher who has mindless sex with a woman yet is drawn towards his teenage pupil. There's an unsubtitled version on Youtube.

"The Way He Looks" - a lovely Brazilian LGBT coming of age film.

Based on this short film, and with the same charming actors:

Saw "My Old Lady" last night. It stars Kevin Kline, Maggie Smith, and Kristin Scott Thomas. I enjoyed the movie. It was a dramedy.

On working within your means, though those limits may be significant, Ai Weiwei: Never Sorry (2012).

Wreck it Ralph, though I'm seeing The Book of Life at Noon so I'm excited for that :)

Horrible Bosses - was actually a lot better than I thought it'd be; I should trust Charlie Day a lot more.

More Blu-ray shopping:

My Neighbour Totorro Blu-ray: Gorgeous looking animated film, really quirky... but I love Spirited Away better.
Ponyo: Again, beautiful looking animated film, more strangeness ensues.
Castle In The Sky: Not as strange as the one above, very fantastical and fun. Van Der Beek's voice kind of irked me at the beginning.
Alice In Wonderland: The One with Jonny Depp. Not as bad as I remember... still not that great either. I love the cat.
X-Men: Days of Future's Past - Yes, I got this so I could stare at Jackman's muscled ass at a leisurely pace, 5 hours.

:)

Horrible Bosses - was actually a lot better than I thought it'd be; I should trust Charlie Day a lot more.

charlie day (It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is ALWAYS funny...!!!!

and, altho it's not technically a movie, this is the last thing i watched...

Last Saturday night I saw "St. Vincent." It stars Bill Murray and Melissa McCarthy. Great movie. It was funny and sad. It was a dramedy.

It was a very good movie. Check it out!
