At the SCOTUS hearings this week, WPATH and the trans-idenitified ACLU lawyer Chase Strangio finally admitted that this was not true.

It took them many years, but once they had to speak under oath, they said the truth.

This bit is what WPATH and other activist organizations have been claiming for over a decade, has been debunked over and over, and which they have now admitted under oath to be not true.

This bit is absolutely true. It is also rising fast, and their deaths are occurring sooner than before: now it's often within three to five years after surgery, whereas a decade ago it was usually after 10 to 20 years.

(Someone pointed out my previous reply could be interpreted ambiguously, hence this clarification.)

Oh gee. That represents 100% of everyone who has ever had surgery within the last 30 years. My god, amzing that this anonymous person would take on being the voice for 100% of trans people.

And of course...we all absolutely believe this testimonial by a cis TERF. No agenda there at all. Where is the article reference by the way? And was it the case where having an orgasm was the key objective? Any discussion of advances in gender reassignment surgery?

As for Nina Paley:

She was a signatory to an open letter published by The Sunday Times defending J. K. Rowling against criticism for transphobia. In an interview with Feminist Current, she stated that when referencing transgender people, she does not necessarily use the pronouns that the person uses. She said, "If a man uses 'she' pronouns... I'm adamant that he is free to identify as he wants. But we're also all free to identify things how we perceive them."

And of course, I have pointed out that unlike the frantic OP of this thread, we have an actual, living, young, happy trans woman in our family who is just gettting along with her career and personal life.

She seems a lot more at ease and comfortable with life than the OP.
