Alright guys, now show the love at least for 1 minute to a great hard fighting team.

It may have taken em 15 years to win another pennant but I gotta admit, even though I hate those fudder muckers, they played hard and earned it. Like I said they are all the Mets should have been.
Even thou I hate that team I still have to admire the way they played this year. They said they were the team to beat and they sure were.
I love baseball to much not to appreciate a rival team that did a job well done

So for Scrub I say
But for the Phillies I still say, watch out for the Mets the team to beat in '09

Yes Cory,even though I do love you more than my tightest pair of jeans.....I admit we have gotten the shit kick out of us,but we never give up.

A part of me now wants to see the Philllies go all the way (against the Rays) but I am still hoping Red Sox will pull out all the stops and win it all.
At least Fanny will NOT get a ring if we lose,so that is something for us here.Poor Fanny.

Never give up Brad, remember the Sox have done it before, you can't forget
the 2004 ALCS, when the Red Sox became the only major league team to win a seven-game series after losing the first three.

Can't much improve upon those sentiments,Abs!Last night's game,though I loathe Boston was one of the most exciting ,compelling games ever.I told Brad in my Sausy's Place thread after Ortiz made it 7-4 with that booming three run homer that you can never count the Red Sox out.(and I bet JD Drew never gets called Nancy Drew ever again)....that the Yankees and Cleveland had such safe,commanding leads yet Boston's toughness and determination led to overcoming both deficits on to winning the 2004(I know it still hurts,Abs) and 2007 WS.They have a lot of fight in them,which is why even in my hatred of the Sox there is a real respect for them....I'd never take them for granted.
