Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

Praise Beysus!

Hallelujah, Sister Moe Moe has seen the light! For registering with the House of Worship you get a free pair of Manolo Blahniks and an hour-long DVD of how Beyonce "gets pretty" in the morning.

As a newcomer you're required to memorize her record sales; that includes remixes and foreign releases, her chart positions by single/album as well as week/year and who she knocked outta the #1 spot (as she always does).

Stay for more than a month and you become an exclusive member, you get this french-sewn, IMPORTED lace front and a collection of movies that she recorded but were never released because [strike]her acting was God awful[/strike] of institutional racism.

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

not really, never been a fan.

Who's your favorite diva, huh?!

Shitney Spears? Christina Shriekalera? Celine Diyawn? Sceri Hilson? No-riah Carey? Beyonce is #1, always has been, always will be. The sooner you accept that, the better your life will be. Resistance is futile, you'll find your booty cheeks rockin' to one of her singles sooner or later!

No, My favorite diva is Madonna obviously. Celine Diyawn? lol, Beyawnce just never caught my attention, if by Number 1 you mean, vapid, boring, unoriginal, repetitive, then yeah, she is def. #1 by those standards. the only time she has been #1 is when Dangerously in Love came Out, i love that album, but bday and her new one, whatever its called are just peices of shit in my opinion. but you know you still love me bew.:p

but hey i might end up liking her if she does something worth listening to, id love to hear her do a rock song, something tina turner-ish, or in the vein of Black Cat By Janet, a country song perhaps, something different and interesting for her..she really needs to take a risk sooner or later..step out of the box for god sakes..

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

no denying the girl's got talent, but i just got tired of her being shoved down our throats. vocally, i've always preferred Kelly and LeToya. i dunno...Beyonce always sounds like she's trying too hard to let everyone know how great a singer she is. does that make any sense?

yeah i think so too, yeah she's talented, but i think she takes herself too seriously and she tries too hard sometimes...

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

I've been religiously devoted to the worship since the holy days of Destiny's Child.

If you were up to date with your studies you'd know that the second testament clearly renders those early recordings irrelevant. Those dry old hags hindered Bey from attaining her destined success. They will always, to me, be known as "Beyonce & 'Nem."

Lord Beysus is my only true savior.

Yes! Get up out yo' seat and praise her!

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

Look at Beysus' worshippers gettin' into her Holy Spirit. Celebrating the blessings, like Sasha Fierce and B'Day, how often we take these things for granted.

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

So glad i'm still an atheist.

Oh please Miss Jy Qui Qui. You do a good job covering up your inner Diva, taking on this rock persona but we all know when no one's around you throw on that freakum dress and Naomi Campbell walk across your room like you're on the runway in Milan.

No shame in being a worshiper, no need to hide your faith!

This is all in jest. I think Beyonce's aight; B+ vocalist, C- dancer, D actress. I'm just mocking her stans.

Honey, Supergurl Loves Beyonce! I Listen to her everyday!(!)(!)(!) Loves It!!!!!

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

Moe, Marley, I have a confession or confessions. For years and years, I've tried to deny what was really in my heart; I ignored her when she was saying my name. I said no, no, no, no, no and she said yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

She's helped me to become the survivor that I am today. I used to have bills, bills, bills, but now I am debt free. Now, I am doing so good. She has shown me that I, too, can be bootylicious.

The Writings on the Wall have ordained that this Survivor is Destiny's Child.

Praise be to the almight Beysus!

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

That's right! Give glory to Beysus, we've converted another non-believer!

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

No.
She and her horse hair wig's and bad clothes 'House of Diarrhea' are beyond overrated.

Re: Anyone into Beyonce?

Beyonce is not over rated. She is rated just right for her awesome singing voice and powerful vocals.

There are very few singers who sing her style of catchy pop songs with a better voice. She made a flawless transition from RnB diva to Pop Godess, riding high on the success of her great music and awesome vocal talents. There is no one in her genre, or field of music that can better what she does, to find better singers you have to go into classical / jazz music to find vocalists such as Norah Jones, Adele, Alison Moyet.

Alicia Keys on the other hand doesnt have as good a singing voice as Beyonce, but she makes up for it with her amazing and mature style of music and is also adored for her abilities as a Pianist and Classical composer, which you can hear uniquely and wonderfully infused with RnB, Hip Hop, Jazz and Pop on all her records. I find it wrong to call her a Neo - Soul artist because her music is too unique and good to be defined under a single genre, she pretty much takes a bit of everything and makes it all awesome.

Both are decent singers, in different ways. Alicia Keys has a better tone, but Beyonce has some power behind her voice.
