Re: Madonna

Britney? LMFAO! You're kidding, right? Britney wishes she could come close...and she'll keep on wishing. Her time has come and gone. Her golden days are over. She never was, isn't and never will come close to the allmighty status of Madonna.

The only one who stands a remote chance is Lady Gaga.

The only thing Gaga will come close to is being a Madonna impersonator.[-X

Re: Madonna

Thank you. I take that as a compliment. :)

Now, if you have any questions about whether any of your 658 tracks are legit or fan-created crap, feel free to ask. :)
I would come to you but you obviously don't know as much as you think you do http://eil.com/shop/moreinfo.asp?catalogid=28717 there is a link to the Japan release. And that my friend just dropped you off as her biggest fan. As Nene would say ,"BLONK, BLONK,BLONK", lol. And why does her remixes have to be legit? I can't enjoy all remixes? You are no fun in my book.

Re: Madonna

I was trying to make a fav list but I love the all the songs off her first 3 CD's and her movie singles like Into The Groove, Crazy For You, Gambler. Then starting at Erotica I have songs I do not care for on each CD after that. I don't even own Evita nor do I think I even saw it. HATE musicals. Even she couldn't pull me into one.

Uhh....of COURSE there's a japanese release. But it's not "remastered" and nor is the master any different from the US version.

Don't try to "1 up" me. It won't work.

Re: Madonna

One song that I really enjoy is 'What it feels like to be a girl', the official dance/techno remix, from Madonna. It's one of those songs that do not stand out at first, but eventually begin to grow on you. The video was also pretty amusing, certainly in light of the message that it conveyed to 'straight blokes'.

You can put it on repeat for a couple of times and don't get bored.

You said there wasn't one. I am just showing there was and the release IS clearer in sound then the CD I have in my Itunes that I bought. You would hear the difference also if you were less pig headed. You turned one comment I made into this weird huge thing. I found it really really odd. She doesn't give 2 shits about you or if you are a fan. She doesn't care about me either. You think she cares you are a bigger fan and know more? No, she would think you need a life and get less involved with hers. She would probably say to me, "it does sound clearer. Hmmm, next topic".

Re: Madonna

This song and video makes me think of the relationship between BlueDragon and DigitalAstoria.

Re: Madonna

Amazing video! I remember there was some controversy over it too? Something about what is written on the chair at the end? How did that all pan out?

This might just have to do on your side with encoding bitrate "in your iTunes" or normalization as a compression option, especially if one purchase/rip is older and depending on whether you purchased it, ripped it yourself, etc. If you have both physical CD's (US and Japanese version of "Like A Prayer"), and can standardize your rip parameters (and rip redbook WAV) and do a Waveform analysis to compare. Japanese Madonna vinyl (the 12" singles) is known as being a little thicker and many people feel it sounds better than the US stuff (less turntable flutter and unevenness and stuff), but for CD I've never seen mention of a "remastered" version (and I'm kind of an audio buff, so I'd be all over it if there were!) and "Like A Prayer" didn't come out in, say, XRCD.

Re: Madonna

That Madonna track set a terrible precedent for the Bond franchise. Afterwards the Bond franchise only received shitty songs from terrible artists.

Expected a whole lot more from Madonna.

I just downloaded it from online. I can find the link if you want it. Just email me. I do hate when old songs sound muffled. I have tried to correct the equalizer but everything still sounds muffled. You can really tell the difference in many of my songs. I mean all the new stuff sounds great but stuff from 10 years on back is touch and go.

Re: Madonna

Erotica is indeed a great album. When I was a kid my mom always used to take it away and hide it somewhere because she thought it was too "mature" for me. I always found it. You'd think she'd just throw it out.

I never said there wasn't a Japanese release. I said there wasn't a REMASTERED Japanese release with better sound. Re-read what I said.
OF COURSE there was a japanese release, as there was around the world.

No, of course she doesn't give a shit about me. I never said she did.

However, she will say that *I* can prove my point with facts and logic and you cannot.

It's cool. I just know my Like A Prayer CD is superior to yours and I am laughing at you everytime I listen to it. Any great Madonna fan would have this in their library. Guess you fail.

:rotflmao:

Sure thing.

And one of us is a sound engineer for a living and the other...isn't.

:rotflmao:

And just an FYI, if you're listening to it on Itunes, it most DEFINITELY isn't superior if you've compressed it.
