I think she may have possibility as an actress if she was given the right role and maybe took a few acting lessons. Seems to me like Cher is still going strong because of her movie roles more than her music. I guess most pop singers get to a certain age where people begin to lose interest in their music. A lot go on to make movies, but in the case of Madonna, it seems like both her movies and latest CDs have failed. She has potential to continue making good music, and possibly movies, but nowadays seems to lurking in the shadows of Lady Gaga.

I don't even think that's the case because nobody, young or old, really paid much interest to her latest CDs. It's a shame. I hope she does make some sort of resurgence because i definitely think she has more talent than Lady Gaga.

...and whatever happened to Gwen Stefani?

i pretty much love all her music up until 'american life'.

'american life' was interesting, but ultimately a failure. i didnt feel 'confessions' at all, and 'hard candy' left me just as cold. her public behaviour and surgically enhanced appearance have also become increasingly irritating. and she never has been much of an actress.

none of thats going to take away from her status as one of the biggest icons of pop-culture. but right now, im not interested in what shes doing, although i wouldnt write her off completely yet.

I've never seen that live preformance of Express Yourself! That was pretty bad ass. I loved the "Billie Jean" stairs. I would die if I ever saw her live! Even from nosebleed seats!
