Dude, unclutch those pearls. Just because I disliked his nose didn't mean that I want every celebrity to go all Michael Jackson and mutilate their noses. I just stated my opinion - i'm not imposing a one-look-fits all standard.

Considering that I lean toward bearish dudes, i'm glad not every celebrity fits the Derek Zoolander plastic mold.
 
I'm sort of upset that the studio has decided to give all the solo heroes another sequal rather than going straight to an Avengers 2. I loved the Iron Man movies, and I loved Thor... but I don't think we need another Captain America movie...

They need to just start over on that one.
 
i would love an avengers 2, but they are trying to play it smart, the only want the avengers to come together, when they absolutely have to, so whent hey come together, it will be a huge event, so give it about 3 or 4 years, and the second one will be just as big, because avengers wont get made every couple years.
 
they can't just jump into the Avengers 2 yet. they need some plot development first. Of course they are doing that through those sequels. Smart way to make Avengers 2 exceptional and get more money our of our pocket.

win win for both sides.

Oh, I know what you mean because I think Captain America's best stories and best potential for cinematic gold exists in World War II but I do want to give Evans a chance to grow into the role.

It's just a shame Marvel were too scared to talk about nazism without renaming it to the much more toy friendly 'Hydra'. I know Hydra is a big part of the comics but I don't think they should have taken the spotlight and lost Captain America alot of it's grounding.

But oh well. I agree we need more spinoffs before Avengers 2. All in good time my friends, all in good time.
 
Anyone want to guess who that lady in the bank was that appeared in the new story talking about CA? Clearly that mad a point of showing her, maybe she she is granddaughter of CA gal pal cant remember the name. I wounder if CAP lost his virginity to that woman? MAybe it is his Grand daughter? Anyway after seeing the movie again, I noticed the faces on those big worm like battleships have the face of THANOS on the front of them
 
It's funny that out of all the Avengers we haven't seen yet Wanda Maximoff is the most popular with gay men. She doesn't seem to have much popularity with straight Avengers fans (most people say Ms Marvel or the Pyms). I wonder if it's because her son is gay and she's kind of ...fabulous.
 
on a side note. Cold blooded has been in Iron Man 3 and SJH is back as BW. Sounds like Portman is back in Thor2 and Loki is back maybe in a more minor role, sounds like Entrancess is main villain

Last night @ the showing of Battleship I saw Jeremy's trailor for The Bourne Legacy...I was kind of surprised he was chosen as Mat Damon's successor....I figured they'd go with Worthington or someone else with a well known name..The flick looks decent...I'm gonna check it out when it drops..

I am with you. Everyone involved has the unenviable pressure of trying to keep this franchise afloat without the guy who helped make it what it was. I hope they live up to our expectations, and not turn this into some throwaway summer action film.
 
I loved the part where the Hulk kicked Loki's ass. That was the best part of the movie.
 
So I hear the movie is now 4th highest grossing in US box office history, 5th worldwide... Not too shabby. More money than any Harry Potter, any Lord of the Rings, and more than nearly any Star Wars film! The only Star Wars film to have made more money, according to IMDB is A New Hope, which was released at least three times over many years whereas Avengers is still in it's first month. Well done Marvel!
 
Just saw the movie and easily my top five fav all time films. Perhaps even top three.


Am I the only one who liked the agents more than the super heroes? Mr. Jackson SLAYED in his role and his two agents Phil and that very pretty chick shitted on everyone else.


Jeremy Renner and Scarlett were fantastic too.


Can't wait to see this again along with Spiderman.
