These circle anti-vax memes seem to be a "come and get me" talisman for karma.

"Medical freedom". What a stupid phrase.

While "Danger" was in the hospital with his oxygen levels dropping rapidly, his wife was trying to get a judge to force the hospital to give her husband the treatments that she wanted him to get. Danger died before she could get a hearing.

One different thing... their friends and family didn't set up a GoFundMe, instead they used some evangelical site called GiveSendGo. Other than that, same shit, different day... "thousands of dollars in medical bills because we chose not to get the free vaccine".


And another epilogue: The Gundersens doctor-shopped until they found a physician's assistant who was who was an anti-mask, Ivermectin-promoter. Scott Miller, who worked in a pediatrics practice, has had his physician's assistant license suspended by Washington State.

Speaking of holocaust analogies and memes with circles, I've seen this one a few times. It's horrifying and makes me sick. There is no bottom for these people. Delete it if you think it's too much, but here goes:

Since the 1970s, portions of the evangelical community have been telling their congregants that there's a war on Christianity. It's been amplified by right wing media to fire up the evangelical voters with false narratives like the "War on Christmas" and the war on saying "Merry Christmas". It's rich with irony since the history they've been fed is about the persecution of Christians by the Romans and completely ignores the 1,500 years in which Christians were the persecutors.

The use of Holocaust imagery with anti-vax memes is an illogical twist for anyone who knows the history of Europe in the early 20th century. On a positive note, at least they're acknowledging there was a Holocaust.

Every time I see these latest anti-vax and anti-mandate memes, I can't help but picture a 2 year old throwing themselves on the ground in a tantrum.

Something we've been commenting on in this thread has shown up in CDC surveillance reporting this week. It's a pretty sobering statistic. It also doesn't bode well for the future, since we're going to have a generation of children who will suffer the emotional and financial consequences of their parents' bad decisions.

But only while they are presenting themselves as victims of some sort of new silent Holocaust: you bet they do not give a crap about the Jewish Holocaust, and they are ready to deny it whenever it gets in their way again.
Remember: it's always all about themselves, not about anybody or anything else.

Their problem is that they do not feel the center or society and, therefore, of the whole universe: they do not care about being a vast minority and not actually ruling the world, as long as they felt they do.
It's like when a little kid discovers someone else is now the little king at home, only that [supposedly] grown-ups would call the cause of that hissy-pissy tantrum mood situation "godless socialism".

The sad thing is that a lot of them wanted the vaccine when it was to late.
They were duped into believing misinformation and believed it.
When facing death, they knew they were wrong on their beliefs.
Part of me feels bad, the other part me doesn't care. They helped spread the disinformation.

It gets worse. It takes about 2-6 weeks for these things to run their course. They first get COVID-19 which lasts about 2 weeks. Then they slowly descend into multi-organ failure, end up in the ICU on a ventilator and slowly die while their family watches helplessly.

Like with Nancy Becker, age 65 of Williamsburg, PA. She died today.


In August, Nancy was posting those same anti-vax memes that were making the rounds on Facebook and Twitter.

Fast forward two months and Nancy is in the hospital in critical condition because she got COVID-19. Because she wasn't vaccinated.

Nancy's daughter Ashley is taking care of her unvaccinated parents, her husband and her child- all of whom got COVID-19.

Someone put together a video complication of Ashley's experience watching a parent die- needlessly- because she bought into the anti-vaxx nonsense instead of just getting the vaccine. None of this needed to happen. None of it.
