I have never been banned. I find it interesting though that your response to people who feel they have mistreated is to tell them to go away. Very typical, and does not surprise me in the least.

Basically I am stating that the christians who get bashed on here are the evil bad christians (think rev. phelps etc) and so far I have not been proven wrong??? I almost forgot apparently I said that gay were not capable of hate and bigotry


I have been called an evil hate spreader and I tell people who do not agree with me to go away, and lets not forget asked if english was my first language because someone didn't understand the point I was making. Even if you forget that english is one of the most complicated languages, I made a point several times that you continued to question. I said Christians are bashed, you said only the anti-gay ones, I said the entire religion is bashed, you said only the anti-gay ones, I said people have made rude comments about religion in its entirety and all Christians, you said it's only the anti-gay ones. I asked if you spoke English as a first language because you were either yanking my chain or failing to comprehend what I was saying. Now that we've gone further I see its not a language barrier, just you covering your ears anytime I suggest that there's hatred on this site.

Re: Hate. The Christian Right took power about 16 years ago. They are in a politically psychological position to pull the hate strings while simultaneously "feeling the love." Nowhere in the Bible does it say that they have to think carefully about what they've been doing. [Well, actually it does.]
There are also several factions of Christians that are collectively, but not equally responsible for the current atmosphere of alienation. People need to learn some basics. A bit of agit-prop that might make the mutts yelp in one sect of Christians will only make them stare incomprehendingly
in another. It just won't make sense to them and you're just being irrational and mean.

And then it (the hate, that is) gets traded back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth. Back and forth.

When I see some self respecting christians stand up for what they believe in, and stop allowing people like phelps to speak for them maybe then I will start a thread.

Corrected for the sake of accuracy. I could give you a hundred examples of gay-friendly Christians and you'd still only acknowledge the gay-haters, you've made that more than obvious in your posts.

Hate is more exciting, and requires less intellectualism than accepting X factors and exceptions. Would you like me to give you some more examples of gay-friendly Christians so you can start a thread about them?

My my my now I am a christian hating homo this gets better and better. I think I have quite clearly stated how I feel on the matter. And as I have said before the problem lies with the gay hating christians who yes if it sounds better to you, who get threads started about them and put on the news.

My point is not that there is no hate here on JUB my point is not that there are no gay friendly christians, my point is as long as these gay hating christians keep getting into the news and regular good christians do not stand up to these crazy's people are always going to have a bad taste in their mouth about christians.


Yes I am sure you can find a few links to these gay loving christians but again I bet I can find a hell of a lot more about the bad ones. Something about the squeaky wheel gets the grease?????

Funny, no one other than Marley on this thread (or almost all of the others I have read) never post on positive steps their "christian" church is taking regarding gay issues, and equality. Why is that? Why is it when you are called to task, you squeal like stuck pigs?

What has "your religion" ever done for gay people? Hey the Unitarians and Episcopalian faiths have advanced gay rights. What has your "so called christian" faith done? Anything? Anything at all?

Why do so many radical right pseudo-christian churches use the gay issue as a hate/wedge issue? Because it raises incredible amounts of money, that's why. They know that all they have to do is send out a direct mail piece begging for money to "fight the fags" and "abortionists", and the petty, small minded morons of Americana will step up and send them millions of $$$ to spew their hate. They are despicable and worthy of eternal destruction.

Well, I was just in the right mood when I saw all those threads about trashing Christians at 2 or 3 in the morning.

And my beliefs are a little complicated. I'm not a stereotypical Christian Conservative who is also gay. It's sorta hard to explain. I believe gays should have the same rights as breeders.

And I was just asking why everyone here likes to trash Christians and Conservatives, when they belong to a group that's been trashed for many years. That just seems a little hypocritical to me. And i didn't really mean to start WWIII.

I would go a little deeper, but I simply don't feel like it, because I'm just not feeling that great today, and carrying on a fight isn't the first thing on my mind.

I do respect some people on here though, and I find it amasing how some people here can dig deep to the root of how I really feel in general, just from half the crap i write in here when I'm drunk or stoned. Sorry everyone for starting this thread. I sure didn't mean for it to go on like this.

Why? Why? Because hypocrisy is the worst of it all. For all the self-righteousness of "God is Love", "Jesus is love", and "Love thy neighbor", all of a sudden radical right christian groups don't like it when their own hypocrisy is exposed. Which group claims it is about "love" and "the betterment of mankind"? Christians or gays? Why is it that the phrase "judge not, lest you be judged" comes to mind?

It largely comes down to this: the conservative christians started it. In their minds, gays are lowlifes who deserve nothing but damnation. In their minds, being gay and christian isn't possible. Any time an issue related to gays pops up, they rise up and damn us to hell. Why should any gay person have respect for that brand of christianity?

I am a Christian. I am gay. I have no problem with Christians who act like Christ. I have major problems with conservative christians who are the modern-day Pharisees. Remember who Jesus condemned most: it wasn't the people typically condemned, it was the Pharisees. Conservative christians deserve the same in today's world.

Well, I was a good, conservative, Christian boy for 18 years.
I was repressed, lonely, and hated my life.
I stopped being a christian and suddenly life got better, I started liking myself.
I came out to my old church friends...
Most of them called me a "fag" and now won't talk to me.
Hmmm....
Furthermore, I go to a conservative Christian university.
And I'm an open gay man.
You try experiencing the looks and comments I get and still not hate a deep disliking for conservative Christians.


Not to mention, conservative ideals are fucking idiotic. Just my opinion
