It seems to be happening to a few of us at the same time though, so I doubt it's within his settings. Previous thread about it was about a month ago... here , shortly after people were all complaining about errors, then JUB shut down for a few hours and all seemed to be fine and dandy. Now it's seemingly back. Granted, I've been logged in for the past hour or so and it's not as bad as it was previously, for me anyway...still gonna be cautious though.
 
Fucking hell! ... I'm finally back after being locked out for a month.

I couldn't log in, reset my password, or anything, since all the technical problems here.

I created a new account just called 'Hoodie', but then I thought 'Fuck it', I really can't be bothered anymore.

I was just about to finally give up and fuck off for good when my request for a password reset finally worked.

I wonder why JUB has it set so that if you don't click Remember Me, then you are logged out after a short period? There are times when I have logged into JUB on a temporary basis, have typed in a post, JUB has logged me out while I'm typing in the post, then the whole post is lost. I don't know why it isn't set up so that you are only logged out after no activity for 2 hours or even 12 hours or something.

That's when I switched to Firefox too. Firefox isn't as good as it used to be though, so I tried IE and I'm surprised at how much it improved! I suggest trying out the current version, it's faster than Firefox and it works better now.

I also tried Chrome recently when I was searching for an alternative to Firefox, and I didn't like it either. I think it's overrated, personally.
But yea, check out IE, it's much better than it used to be.
 
I had a few quirks some weeks back but don't generally have to log in again after being off for awhile... things seem all right now. I can understand the frustration, though. I too have the new IE "Microsoft Edge" and I'm basically satisfied with it.
 
How disappointing that site owners and admins have been unresponsive. This isn't the first time. The Mod Forum has often been the site of insulting negligence or responses.

I'm just sick thinking about those of you like FPNY and Taralucci. And to read Hoodedrat's total block is maddening. The brief while that I was on another site, a few months, it was common for their lame site owner to "accidentally block" users when trying to block others. Good grief.

It really feels like de-evolution.
 
I bet if there was money, in addition to goodwill, these issues wouldn't linger around.

As I assume this messageboard doesn't make a lot of cash for the owners (?) it probably runs on goodwill.

Obviously, there are lots of profitable media we could all migrate to. Smooth, shiny interfaces...slick comms...seemless real time updates...micro-minimal downtime. The works.

Starbucks, Facebook, McDonalds, whatever.
 
No problems with Firefox here, maybe delete all the cookies related to JUB?
 
It seems whenever you (OP) experience severe connection problem, then I also have it. I think we be served by same beat down server..

This place offers fun and freedom unimaginable..but the technical mishap indeed very suck.

People who let software have its way with 'automatic updates' (browsers, operating systems, addons, routers, etc.) will all experience any problem(s) that may occur with those 'updates' all at the same time – as they are released.

This logging in and out business doesn't seem to be a universal problem, nor does it seem to have anything to do with the site's recent 'data error' problem. In fact, it doesn't seem to be affecting very many JUBbers at all.

It's quite likely that some JUBbers have something else in common besides posting on JUB – something on their end that is fucked up.

I wouldn't be too hasty blaming this site for a problem that seems to be affecting only a few. It's not up to the owners and administrators of this site to teach JUBbers how to use their own/personal software/hardware.

Dont like folks who downgrade technical problem by pigeon holing user who experience, basically by being a bitch without offering significant solution.

I use chrome- no software update- no plugins- nothing, I defrag and clean cache everyday...It was smooth and sail until JUB acting up 2 days ago by numerous sudden logoff. The source problem is real folks..
