To be honest, I don't know if I know a single bisexual person who considers themselves part of the community at all.

I don't know really. I think it's good how all us minorities have a single group to be stuck into, but at the same time, I don't like the fact that I myself am lumped into a group I don't want to be part of.
I'm gay, I don't have a problem with gays, I love being gay, but I don't want to be in the same group as transsexuals, lesbians and bisexuals...I don't reeally have a reason for it other than selfishness or some other evil feeling it seems. It doesn't really make sense, but I just don't like it.
And with transsexuals, in a similar vain to the way heterosexuals think about gays, "It's ok as long as they're not all in my face about it"... I just can't get to grips with transseexuality. I know they're normal people like you and I, but if I met one I would just feel really awkward.
I'm not trying to bash anyone or start a war, it's just how I feel.
No, I know it's weird.Wow, that's totally fucked up. Replace lesbians/bisexuals/transexuals with "Black people", then read your post. Does "just how I feel" still sound like a valid reason?

So much for all of us that spend time on the site, go to protests, give speeches. etc.
On the other hand how you have talked about bi guys, I doubt you would know many, if at all.
