It's okay...I'm almost 22 and I still LOVE Power Rangers.

Once you reach a certain age, these things thrust you into the world of dorks, but it isn't necessarily a bad thing. Dorkiness can be very sexy.
 
You're too old for the cartoon but not the game IMO. I'll be picking up Diamond myself tomorrow so make sure to post your friend code here so we can register each other.
 
Not at all, I have both on reserve and am picking them up tomorrow. I think you might have something to worry about if you still watched the cartoon and had all the collectibles specifically for kids. However since it's just the games I see nothing to worry about, and I'm looking forward to it. It's been a while since I got a new DS game.
 
I was with some of my brothers friends on Friday, and they were all talking about Pokémon. They're all 20.
 
Yes, you are too old, but only because I can't stand the show or the games.:p

But, I have no room to talk, I'm a Final Fantasy FANATIC at 23.
 
Love it.

I mean, I think I'm too old for the anime (it's too childish...) but the games are genuinely good games--so, why not?

I'm picking Diamond up tomorrow.
 
I like playing the games. I find them oddly relaxing, I don't know. I used to love the cartoon when I was younger but I can't watch it anymore, it's so stupid.
 
I'm going on 22 the first of May and I must say that I'm right with you. The only difference is that I want Pearl. Come tomorrow, (if Wal-Mart has it in then)I'll be playing the latest in the franchise!
 
I intend to buy Diamond very soon. I love the games, because they can't be beaten really quick like some. I don't think you are too old for them either. The show has been on a downward spiral for a while now, and I only found the original and MAYBE the second area worth watching. But lately the show is so predictable its annoying.

Still, I greatly enjoy the games, and i'm not the only one out of people I know.
 
I kind of miss the idea of Pokemon. So I wouldn't mind playing one of the newer, cripser, versions.
 
The Pokemon rpg series are the main thing about pokemon. Everythin else, including the not so good show came later. But the games are actually great.

I definitely getting Diamond.
 
Oh puhhhleeeeze ! I'm 18 and I still love'em ! The show, the games, everything !

But I'm not obsessed. If it's something I'm obsessed with, it's Yu-Gi-Oh ! . Bestest game ever ! I had to invent an adjective for it !

By the way, when you get the game, feel free to tell us a lil' bit about it ! I'm always really excited about new moves when new games come out . (Can't beat Hydro Cannon !)
 
I picked up mine today too, since I reserved both not only did I get both stylus, but I also got a special holder for the both of them :gogirl:. God I'm such a dork at times. But so far I'm enjoying it, who else got it today.
 
You’re never too old for something fun. I LOVE SAILOR MOON SO MUCH! However, I'm not really that familiar with pokemon, but I'm sure I'd love it... I just have a HORRIDLY short attention span. I own a ds and I never play it. The only game I have actually completed is Castlevania Dawn of Sorrow. I bought Portrait of Ruin, but I haven’t even gotten to the first boss yet. I get the idea of the game and stuff, but could pokemon hold my attention?
 
The games became so complicated for me.. I mean back in the day u had a few TMs, HMs, 150 of them and 4 moves. Thats it. Now there's almost 500 pokemon, each with 4 moves and a special abilty, berries and other items they can hold, breeding, pre-evolutions, double battles... 0_0 !

With that said though, I cant wait for Diamond!
