I truly believe his declarations have now reached the level that his own oligarchs in the GOP would act to take him out prior to him being the nominee, meaning an assassination. It's just unthinkable that an overt rejection of the Constitution could go forward as a candidate to lead the republic.

And, for what it's worth, he's trying to use his old playbook of feeding a continuous stream of outrageous comments to continue to get free press in his campaign.

More chilling is the unwillingness of even his opponents to go on record saying they will not vote for him if he becomes the party's nominee.

Because his supposed opponents are really just pretend opponents. Just like when they're accused of cowardice for not standing up to Trump - is false. They're pretend cowards to camouflage co-conspiracy. It's all part of the show. When it comes down to it; Silence = Complicity = Consent. What they DO is what counts. Everything they DO says they condone and support Trump and all that Trump does and the agenda Trump stands for. Because the Trump agenda is the party agenda. Anything else is gaslighting.

Trump is the personification of the republican party. Trump IS what they ARE. They ARE what Trump IS.

The people who enabled him have been trying to nullify the Constitution for ages, they don't care about what he says. They are not going to assassinate him. They will abandon him when the trog horde no longer goes to the polls or it becomes irrelevant.

No doubt the toad's enablers are looking for someone else who doesn't lose elections. They are not "all-powerful" and despite the games they play, are not dictating the course of events. The last three election cycles have gone against them despite all their money, and all their cheating, and all their venom, and the collusion of the Christoban terrorists on the Supreme Court.
