Ok. So my partner made me bring the doc up because I was showing him the tiktok of this mentally ill MAGAT, who, I can believe, scared the shit out of the poor bank teller that had to deal with her thinking she likely had a gun or something, and we scrolled through some pages together.

I have had interactions with mentally ill people through my career and in personal life and this so much reminds me of the meticulous pseudo-intellectual ravings they would commit to paper.

What really scares me is that there are people out there like this who are married or in relationships and throw themselves down these rabbit holes and never are able to claw their way back out...in the meantime ruining or adversely affecting the lives of friends and family.

Hopefully she gets help...but more likely, she was there on Jan 6th and believes that JFK Jr. is going to rise up next year and save Amuuurrricca.

The DOJ is about to force Fulton County to build a new jail. $7 million would be a helpful amount to contribute to what would be a multi-billion dollar construction project. :D

There's no way anyone in the County has the stomach to spend 7 million in lawyers' fees to fight the lawsuit.

It would have to. I don't think you can go directly to compensatory damages without first notifying the plaintiff to stop using someone else's intellectual property.

If this were to go against him in AZ and MI (they have similar lawsuits) that would mean an automatic loss. The Dems as of now are over 270, so this is already their race to lose, but taking those two off the board for Toad leaves it with no path to victory.

The thing with "cease and desist" letters is that it's usually for publication of copyrighted content beyond Fair Use. This was big money- millions. I can't imagine a case where a copyright holder would also such brazen profiteering off their intellectual property without seeking damages.
