The real question though?
Why do leaders of other countries continue to place themselves in the Oval office with Trump and be subjected to
this kind of abuse?
The impact of the PEPFAR funding freeze on HIV deaths and infections: a mathematical modelling study of seven countries in sub-Saharan Africa
A 90-day funding freeze would result in 60 thousand excess HIV deaths for the Executive order—proportional scenario. This number would increase to 74 thousand excess HIV deaths for the Executive order—realistic scenario. Under a 4-week and 8-week waiver scenario, projected excess HIV deaths ranged between 21 thousand and 28 thousand respectively. Excess new infections ranged between 35 and 103 thousand for the different scenarios.
...However, it was footage that followed these clips, showing white wooden crosses lining a rural highway, that seemed to surprise Ramaphosa who confessed he had not previously seen the video. Trump commentated over the footage, describing it as burial sites of white farmers.“Now this is very bad. These are burial sites right here. Burial sites. Over 1 000. Of white farmers,” he said. “They’re all white farmers, the family of white farmers. ” This is incorrect and misleading. The footage was of a farm attack protest held in September 2020 near Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. The demonstration was organised by local farming communities following the killing of Glen and Vida Rafferty, a couple murdered on their farm the previous month.
The case was quickly resolved by police but served as motivation for a peaceful protest during which approximately 500 symbolic crosses were erected along the road — not the “over a thousand” that Trump claimed . The protest and memorial were temporary and intended to draw attention to farm-related crime in the region. No bodies were interred at the site, and there was no direct correlation between these crosses and a verified number of farm murders in South Africa. An article published on the website of the Institute of Race Relations (IRR) highlights that this was not a memorial for white farmers only, as Trump repeatedly asserted. Instead, according to the IRR, this was a multi-racial protest supported by people from across the region.Trump further claimed that the cars “lined up to pay love on a Sunday morning… And those cars aren’t driving, they’re stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed.” This is again misleading — given it was a protest that, according to the IRR, occurred on a Saturday.

The best moment is when Ramaphosa tells Trump that he doesn't have a plane to give him.

What are they hoping for?
The best approach is to tell Trump they will be glad to meet with him in their countries if he is able to be admitted
or to insist on a meeting at their own embassies.

The pictures in Trump's little flyers that he held up were from the Democratic Republic of Congo, not South Africa (nor Namibia!).
His staff play him like a cheap fiddle.
They probably full well all know this stuff is hateful lies, but again, they are playing to their base.
It is just another version of 'They're eating the cats. They're eating the dogs'
Exactly.Or "Nambia", as Orangina called it a previous speech.
Sources contradict Trump narrative about Qatar offering plane as ‘gift’
...In February, Trump toured the Qatari plane with some aides when it was at the airport in Palm Beach, Florida, near Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort. Afterwards, Trump remarked on how luxurious the plane is to people around him, CNN has reported. Trump’s communications director Steven Cheung said at the time that Trump was on the plane “to check out the new hardware/technology.” ...
On Monday, White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt called the potential transfer a “donation to our country,” saying Qatar’s royal family “has offered to donate this plane to the United States Air Force, where that donation will be accepted according to all legal and ethical obligations.”

'He Is Not in Charge': Trump Mocked After Asking What’s in His Own Executive Order
President Donald Trump has signed more than 150 executive orders, often with cameras rolling and staff looking on.
