Why do leaders of other countries continue to place themselves in the Oval office with Trump and be subjected to
this kind of abuse?

In the case of South Africa, their President is in the Oval Office because 13% of the population is infected with HIV- that's nearly 8 MILLION people.

Excess new infections ranged between 35 and 103 thousand for the different scenarios.

One of the things that gets overlooked about PEPFAR is that it prevents HIV transmission between mother and child. Trump is creating a new generation of HIV infected children, most of whom will die before age 2 if they aren't put on anti-retroviral medication after birth.

Perhaps someone needs to lie to Trump and tell him it is white farmers who have HIV in South Africa?

South African news outlets confirmed that the Conspirator-In-Chief presented the South African delegation with disinformation that he collected off of the internet.

The "1,000" crosses, were actually 500 temporary crosses that were erected for two white farmers who died as part of a multi-racial protest. Trump falsely implied that each cross represented a farmer that had died.

The pictures in Trump's little flyers that he held up were from the Democratic Republic of Congo, not South Africa (nor Namibia!).

Of white farmers,” he said. “They’re all white farmers, the family of white farmers. ” This is incorrect and misleading. The footage was of a farm attack protest held in September 2020 near Newcastle, KwaZulu-Natal. The demonstration was organised by local farming communities following the killing of Glen and Vida Rafferty, a couple murdered on their farm the previous month.

The case was quickly resolved by police but served as motivation for a peaceful protest during which approximately 500 symbolic crosses were erected along the road — not the “over a thousand” that Trump claimed . The protest and memorial were temporary and intended to draw attention to farm-related crime in the region. No bodies were interred at the site, and there was no direct correlation between these crosses and a verified number of farm murders in South Africa. An article published on the website of the Institute of Race Relations (IRR) highlights that this was not a memorial for white farmers only, as Trump repeatedly asserted. Instead, according to the IRR, this was a multi-racial protest supported by people from across the region.Trump further claimed that the cars “lined up to pay love on a Sunday morning… And those cars aren’t driving, they’re stopped there to pay respects to their family member who was killed.” This is again misleading — given it was a protest that, according to the IRR, occurred on a Saturday.

What are they hoping for?

The best approach is to tell Trump they will be glad to meet with him in their countries if he is able to be admitted
or to insist on a meeting at their own embassies.

At least there are others also asking this question:

Trump is breathtakingly ignorant about the world. His lack of curiosity and his arrogance in his belief that he's always the smartest person in the room was on display yesterday. A suspected serial killer who spent decades on death row had a message for President Donald Trump in his final moments before his execution this week.

Glen Rogers, 62, also known as "The Casanova Killer," was executed by lethal injection on Thursday, May 15, according to reports from the Associated Press, NBC News and CBS News. He was pronounced dead at Florida State Prison near Starke at 6:16 p.m., the outlets reported.

Rogers was handed down a death sentence for the 1995 murder of 34-year-old Tina Marie Cribbs, a mother-of-two who was found dead in a Tampa motel room, per the outlets. He was also convicted in California of the 1995 killing of Sandra Gallagher and sentenced to death, but remained incarcerated in Florida. He met both women at bars prior to their murders.

In his last words prior to his execution, Rogers shared a message for President Donald Trump.

“President Trump, keep making America great,” he said after thanking his wife, the AP reported. “I’m ready to go.”
