So the Appeals Court has now also spoken. Obviously TrumpCo. will be trying to get this into the SC because they will rule in his favour and give TrumpCo. another 600,000 people to deport to third countries.

Theoretically this will put a halt to courthouse seizures.

The judge has noted this will put an end to these courthouse arrests by ICE.

The administration asked for a delay in the ruling so they could appeal but Judge Cobb denied them a stay.

The ruling is therefore in effect now.

Apparently, the US is now missing about 1.2 million immigrants who were in the labour force.

We are hearing about difficulties farmers are having getting enough people to harvest their crops and of course there are also now shortages showing up in construction and the service industries.

ICE is set to get $76.5 billion, nearly 10 times its current annual budget. Some $45 billion will go toward increasing detention capacity. Nearly $30 billion is for hiring 10,000 more staff so the agency can meet its goal of 1 million annual deportations.

A bit more background. These were skilled workers needed in the construction of the plant that Hyundai could not find in the US.

And even though a bill for giving South Korea the same ability as other countries to bring in skilled workers under Work visas, Congress has not passed it...so this was like a huge trap. Great way to kill South Korean investment in the US.
