I used to like Two and a Half Men.

But it's just painful now that they lost one of the men and the half man. So only Jon Cryer is left from the original three.

Aston Kutcher what the fuck were you thinking boy.

^scary,

All I read was the title of the thread and my first thought was that show....aahahha!

CSI would be another one that comes to mind.

As much as I loved "Law and Order" when it first started, it too, has jumped the shark, several times over with several spin-offs and cast changes...

I can't even watch the repeats anymore....

I love Law and Order SVU.............especially now that Danny Pino is on it.

Perry Mason. That show has been on at noon my whole life, and won't go away.

Glee, 90% of police procedural shows, definitely Grey's Anatomy, Survivor for sure, The Vampire Diaries is utter tripe (fantastic eye candy though), The Simpsons, Family Guy, and The Big Bang Theory got boring after three seasons because they repeat the jokes. Two and a Half Men was never amusing in general.

True Blood.
sadly, I'll still watch it though.

American Idol

How has AI jumped the shark? It still follows pretty much the same pattern every season, with only a few minor occasional tweaks. Just because it has new judges does not qualify it as shark jumping. But the part about it not going away, I'll give you that.

well, i think tv in general has jumped the shark. there really are very few shows that are watchable. a lot of shows suck which is why the tv stays off.

It went from being a show about finding the best American singing talent(seasons 1-5), to being a show about who can sell the best sob story(season 5 onward), then about who the teen(girls) wanted to win(seasons 7-11), and then more or less about the celebrity of the judges rather than the talent in front of them(seasons 8 onward, though this was most apparent on season 9, 10 and 12).

I think it qualifies.

Grey's Anatomy.
1st season --> wow, fairly good
2nd season --> wait, why Dempsey's chara has a wife
3rd season --> didn't manage to watch
4th season --> wtf drama everywhere
5th season, 1st episode --> garbage
I didn't watch ever since.

I used to think the same about Desperate Housewives when the 5th & 6th season are arguably the worst and lost the personality. Lucky season 7-8 remedied the damage,

So do I. SVU is one of the few shows I watch. I'm looking forward to a good season, but I wish they hadn't let Christopher Meloni go.

I thought Dexter jumped the shark after the 5th season. That season was hard to beat.

Two and a Half Men season premier is on tonight and it's supposed to reveal that Charlie had a long lost daughter. With her interfering that might destroy the show.

I think The Simpsons has been on too long. It's getting stale. Same thing with South Park.

^ as much as a love South Park, and I truly do. The latest season have been more concerned with making current jokes than funny jokes. I think they lost it :(

too many of crime shows have gone over the edge....don't necessarily agree about simpson's , any show that has managed to be on for 25 years can't be too stale lol, it has some crap, but its good out weighs ...tru blood has run its course, but its eye candy.
