Allegedly, his publicity director resigned two weeks ago out of protest at the unwise move.

The clips of the interview with Prince Andrew have been pretty damning.

He used the word "unbecoming" to describe Epstein's alleged sex trafficking.

He denied being in the photograph with the underage girl (granted, photos can be doctored.)

He denied sleeping with his accuser.

He brushed off staying with Epstein on a four-day visit AFTER the conviction.

Of course, even if assuming the worst is true, that is to say, all of it, what is the damage? He's not elected. He's not the head of state. His acts were those of an individual, and it's entirely possible he was told she was 18 instead of underage. He's just a bad seed. It's not like he's the crown prince. He's a bit old for mummy to punish.

Never complain. Never explain.

He broke the cardinal law of 'The Firm'.

I can't believe the Palace didn't vet this and shut him down.

If there is a sword handy at Windsor...he should throw himself on it and get it over with.

What a disaster. I bet poor Liz is counting the days until she croaks. Oh well, at lease Chuck won't be around that long. It'll be interesting to observe the future Royals, but Harry ain't looking too smart either.

Poor dears are terribly desperate for attention these days.

It was cringe-worthy
Apparently he is so arrogant that he will not listen to advice once he has decided on something

What was he thinking of?

He doesn't think. That's the problem.

I have just started watching the latest series of The Crown and he suffers form exactly the same thing as Margaret. Spare to the heir syndrome. No use to anyone but have to be on hand just in case

I may be wrong, but I thought he admitted that was him in the photo, but denied that was his arm around her.

saw some crazy British lady on that creepy guy Piers Morgans show defending the prince and making it even worse:lol:

Wonder what Dame Edna could do with this, or even Graham Norton.

I imagine SNL might take it on, but might not since it's dealing with liberal canon.

I suspect that he is going to be put in a cupboard by the Palace for awhile after this interview and will have few royal appearances.

When he was in school here in Lakefield, Ontario, he had the reputation as Randy Andy even then.

Oh for the days when they could just be dispatched to some Caribbean island hideaway like Edward and Wallace or Princess Megs.

I saw a headline this AM from the duchess's rep blaming it on his personal secretary, saying that the "buck stops with her", as if he were too stupid to be trusted to make his own decisions.

^ I always assumed it was why they sent him to the colonies to a safety school.
