Hey guys...back for a very quick update. Things are going really, really well. Stevin and I are so happy. Living together is great. We are a lot alike, a lot different and its all good. We have had some arguments here and there but we agree that its good to have those here and there and move on from them as better people, a better couple...anyway, will update soon again with a longer post, hope all is well with you all xoxoxxoxoxo Brian

Wow, it's SO wierd being back in here.

This thread has a special importance to me. I spent hours reading Brian's story on the VERY FIRST day I discovered JUB.

In fact, Brian was the reason I signed up. Because I strongly wanted to give a message of support to him.

Six months down the line, and I've made JUB my home - I'm a full supporter, and 1,000 posts have flown by.

But it all started with you, Brian. (*8*)

Despite the rough times that you went through, I feel that people can learn lessons from those times, and by sharing your story with everyone, then hopefully others, with less experience of relationships, can learn something about life too. I know I certainly did. No matter how bad things can get, there is always the hope of brighter times ahead. And I'm making steady progress in my own life.

So, I wish you all the very best for the future.

After all this time, I still consider this the defining thread of JUB. Your metamorphosis, Brian, was a great success, and I feel privileged that you have shared so much with us.

In my daily thread notifications, I saved this best one for the last.

It never occurred to me that you might change your username, but I think that was a good move. It shows there's been complete closure on the events of 2 to 4 years ago. I always look forward to your updates, Brian.

When "the real thing" came along, your previous experiences made you appreciate and cherish what you have, now, all the more.
 
Hey guys, glad to see you are all still hanging out here. Really missed talking to you guys...I hope each and every one of you are doing well...a small update I can give you for now is that we are still going strong and are still together...a relationship, this relationship is very hard at times. I thought "Undying love" is all I needed for the man in my life, but bumps along the way tested that...whenever I pictured being in a relationship I thought it might be easier than this. Yeah I am a realist and understood fighting and stuff might happen to cause some friction, that is normal...but I never imagined I had to go through some things I went through...and feel some things I felt...anyway talk to you guys more in depth later...BRIAN XOXOXO

Every relationship has the same, basic, components, and, yet, each is quite Unique. On a small scale, it's kind of like the first time we "tongue wrestle" with someone New. Likely, we end up with a sore throat, and sniffles, as our anti-bodies adapt to each other. Sometimes it's not too bad, and at other times, it can wipe us out for days! #-o
