So I usually carry around my back pack with me everywhere I go. It fits on my back when I'm on my motorcycle, allows me to carry around my stuff.

But I can't really carry it around all the time.

But I've got a lot of ... stuff.

Gone are the days men only needed a small money clip or billfold. Now we have countless credit cards, store cards, insurance cards, licenses, ID cards, discount cards, Pass cards, gym membership cards....

I also have to carry around..

- My phone
- whatever book I'm reading
- an epi pen
- tooth brush
- my iPod and head phones
- soon I'll need to carry around my iPad.

So I'm going to eat shit and buy a "European Man Bag."

Fuck.

What did you think they were using in this smiley: :jasun:

I've had one for ages. It's just a messenger bag, really. I use it as my school bag for uni, my laptop and have everything else I need from home when I am at my boyfriend's.

Frankly, I carry very little with me when I'm around and about. Most of what I really need is wearable. But I still like to have a nice murse to be stylish. It's all the rage in Toronto.

Jasun...find love will

maybe he can get you a discount on a top of the line...For sure

he can help you find one fashionable enough for walking the streets of L.A.

Oh and maybe stain free and bullet proof so you can store some ego

in there too......

sorry, j/k...you make porn, I make cracks...it's what WE do.

Why can't you carry a backpack everywere? If it's good leather, well-stitched and nicely styled, you can carry it anywhere. Look for a rucksack or leather backpack, be stylish and practical at once. And safe: if you're going to keep riding your bike, a side-hanging shoulder bag would throw you off balance.

But I do love my messenger bag (or murse, if you insist): good Italian leather, simple and elegant in a drapey unpretentious way, carrying all my essential and inessential daily doodads in masculine-enough-for-moi style. I get a lot of compliments on it from men and women.

Don't forget your kotex and maxi-pads in your murse.

get yourself a nice cardboard box. the one with the carry holes in the sides, you can put all your stuff in there very nicely. you can write your name on the side with a magic marker so everyone knows it belongs to you....

man purse? no!

utility belt? better! ;)

Jasun, if it makes you feel any better, I never had any respect for you to begin with, so this will have no impact whatsoever.

Just get some khaki pants, a leather jacket, a brown fedora, and a bullwhip to set it off and you'll be fine. :)

Pfft. I stick with a backpack, and I DO carry it everywhere. Not because I'm anti-"man bag", but because I found a good cheap one, and I'm used to it.
