Were there early indications you were gay?

yeah ... pretty early signs ... but only i knew about them ... i was the perfect hetero youngest son

When I was like 6 years old, The first Power Ranger series came on TV. After watching it and as I began playing pretend with my brothers and neighbor, I always wanted to be the Pink ranger or Scorpina. Yeah that did mellow out after a few years though.
 
I don't know if being called gay at very young age would be considered an indication or sign. But back then I think I knew already I am gay.

Omg I LOVED the Spice Girls. My best friend (who turned out to be straight) and I paid to see SpiceWorld in the theater. Then, when I got the VHS I watched it every day for 37 days just to confirm that I was a huge fan. The VHS also came with a poster which remained up in my room for at least 4 years, well beyond the point when I was over them. Now when I hear their songs super nostalgia kicks in. I was all about Baby and my best friend was in love with Posh. We still have inside jokes related to the Spice Girls. Jebus I was so freakin gay back then (as was my best friend). :lol: I'm like a mashup of Posh and Sporty nowadays, with some Baby still hiding in there.
 
When I was a five year old I always grabbed the same beautiful cloak from the toybox and run around with it during playtime.

Also, I watched musicals. Like every day.
 
I was called faggot a lot when I was in elementary school and junior high...guess they all knew something I didn't at the time.
 
Yes. I was probably 10 or 11 and I was training acrobatics. I really liked my partner (I was a pair with an older guy). He was a very handsome, muscular guy. There was also another guy that I really liked there. I thought he's cute LOL. Didn't really put any meaning to those attractions thought... it was later that I realized what was going on !oops!
 
LOL I used to put on my mom's nightgowns and play with dolls... then again, so did my older brother and he's straight. I started having dreams about men when I was 11 or 12 and figured out I was gay at about 13. These days I wouldn't be caught dead wearing women's clothing.
 
Oh yes...The Spice Girls....

I remember when I was in the 2nd grade girls in my class would choreograph dances to their songs and I would enjoy listening to them as they did it ahah. I remember I got mum to buy me a CD and it had the lyrics and I would listen to all the songs and mouth the lyrics ahah.

There's also a home video of me and my family at the beach when I was a toddler. My dad was making sandcastles with a bucket and my brothers were smashing them down with toy trucks, whilst I was in the background collecting seashells in a bag haha.

I preferred to play with my sisters Barbies than my own cars etc
All my friends were girls
The Kylie Minogue phase never passed.

but of course ...besides wanting to be the pink ranger the list is kinda long. when disney finally became free in our area i developed a massive crush on the lawrence brothers.. except joey. when i discovered hanson i crushed them as well, i loved the olsen twins shows like two of a kind,every weekend before going to the mall and "shopping til i dropped" i would always watch so little time and dream that jesse head was my boyfriend, i would cry when will and grace fought,i cried when friends ended,i "accidentally" cut old blue jeans into a skirt that i lived in,i desperately wanted to date richie rich, i was in love with aaron carter/ jesse mccartney,and seth from the o.c. always asked me to run away with him.

But after the movie came out I wanted to be that big ol' queen Ivan Ooze. :badgrin:
